Shorts and Naked Legs in November!?

Happy Monday You All. We are entering the second week of November, just like that. Shorts and Naked Legs in November, you say?! Well, if it is 75 degrees and sunny why not?! I decided to go for these Black Linen-Blend Shorts. But, you won't be seeing Shorts without Tights any more this year, or probably till next May, at least. I do like the look of Shorts with Tights so you will get a few of those outfits (with some Dark-Colored and some Thick-Material Shorts). This outfit worked for November because I have on Dark Colors or Neutrals: Black, Beige and Brown mostly. The Shorts are Black while my Baseball-Style Tee has Nude/Beige Sleeves and incorporates a Brown Leaf Pattern on the front with a Classic Leopard Pattern on the back (I have had it for many years but haven't worn it so much). One last thing I am wearing this year is these White Ballet Flats. I won't be putting my White Tops, White Jeans or Winter Whites away by no means, but starchy White Shoes is a little much for now. Vivian joined mommy for my shoot, this time. Unlike me she is rocking her Bright Coral and Hot Pink, today.

The Accessories:

Vivian's Outfit:
Hot Pink Graphic "Lambs" Peplum Tee: Meijer's.
Coral Ruched Leggings: A Local Children's Boutique.
Orange+Black Socks: Wal Mart.

With the pop of Leopard making a surprise on the back of my shirt, this outfit is perfect
to link up with Jana because her linkup this week is all about "Leopard is a Neutral".

We had a bit of a mini-heatwave at the start of Autumn here too earlier this year. I definitely took advantage of it to go bare-legged for one last time! :)

  14. You'll be seeing me in lots of shorts soon as I leave for Florida in less than two weeks! I do believe it is more appropriate to dress for the weather than the calendar. You achieved both very well because of your fall prints and colors, yet still cool and comfortable clothing!
