Currently: November 2015 and My Little Pumpkin.
Hard to believe it is already November. Well let's look what I am currently up to and what I have coming up, this month. As you all know, we stayed home for Halloween. I mostly did some grocery shopping actually. But even-though Vivian didn't get to wear her costume or go trick or treating, I did buy her a cute Halloween onesie. She is the cutest pumpkin of the patch, just like the t-shirt says. Also, stay tuned because I will soon share some photos from the pumpkin patch we went to with my little one, last week.
cooking: stir-fry dishes with Fall vegetables like pumpkin, squash, red onions, baby corn and of course broccoli, asparagus, snap peas and lots of bell peppers and trying some healthier noodles like whole-wheat, gluten-free or zucchini noodles. Sandwiches - I have so many different healthy recipes which incorporate avocado. I love avocado. I have to share some of these. And of course angel hair pasta soup with chicken broth and fried eggs for Vivian. She is such a picky eater.
planning: I am planning out my busy real-life calendar for the next couple of months as well as my blog calendar. I will try to be as organized as possible since in the next couple of months I will be so busy. I am also planning some fun outfits with lots of fun Fall elements like Plaid, Shirtdresses, Booties, Suede, Ponchos and Blanket Scarves. I am planning a nice Fall remix for November 6th too so stay tuned for that.
smelling: fall leaves, fall rain, the crisp fall air. Everywhere I go it smells like Fall and pumpkins and pumpkin spice lattes (which I don't care much for, by the way). Also, I am smelling coffee and coffee drinks everywhere. I cannot escape it, even in the grocery stores. Almost every grocery store has a cafe inside now and almost every Target has a Starbucks. On top of that, the coffee isles are filled with a larger variety of fancy coffee flavors and coffee brands. I don't go to Starbucks or treat myself to coffee often, but last week when I was at Target I treated myself to a chocolate mocha and yesterday when I got some french fries for Vivian at McDonalds, I got myself a McCafe as well.
appreciating: I am appreciating the gorgeous colors, flavors, smells and mostly nice weather of Fall here in Michigan. Michigan is well-known for having a gorgeous Fall and I appreciate it so much when I get to spend Fall or Autumn - my favorite season - when I am living or staying in Michigan. I am not appreciating the flu, virus bugs and getting sick with the season changes, though.
anticipating: firstly, I am anticipating November sweeps. It is the best time to watch TV and there are currently some awesome (new) TV shows I am watching. Blindspot. Limitless. Blood and Oil. Quantico? Is anyone watching any of these? I got all my FBI and police drama fix. I am also anticipating Thanksgiving, of course. This Thanksgiving dinner it will be my little family, my parents, my brother and my aunt with her own family. It should be fun. Last but not least I am anticipating to start decorating for Christmas - the best holiday of all and my absolute favorite, too.

I don't watch any fall tv, but I saw on someones blog the other day that her and her husband are going to watch 1 fall show together. I think that sounds really fun and Brian and I need to do that. I have no idea which one would be best for us, though. I love this post, you should link it up to Becky's (she's at Choose Happy) Currently link up! She does it every Monday, but I only link up once a month to it. Vivi is really looking like you! She is such a doll! Oh, and I love guac, too!

Aww your daughter is so cute! :) it's nice you dressed her up even if you didn't go trick or treating.
ReplyDeleteWe don't have trick or treating here in Australia either.
Such a sweetie! Who would doubt she is the cutest pumpkin! They show Quantico here too, I watched just one episode, then we went on holiday and I missed a couple of episodes. So, thinking whether it is worth finding and watching it on internet.

I'm really loving the fall smells, too. I always notice right away when the outside smells begin to change to the smell of leaves. I love it, and immediately want to go and snuggle up with a cozy blanket! :)
