Black, White and Blue Denim.
I hope you all enjoyed a rich and yummy Thanksgiving Dinner with those nearest and dearest to you! Were any of you brave enough to shop last night or this morning or are you even shopping today? Not me. But, it was nice that yesterday I woke up to a snow-free ground. Yes, all 10 inches of snow (from last Saturday) melted away. Our temps reached as high as 57 degrees, yesterday.
Anyway, I bring you an Outfit which would have been totally fine for our Thanksgiving Dinner (over my aunt's) last night. As a matter of fact I ended up wearing a very similar look, which I will share on the blog next week. This, however, I wore last Thursday for a general well visit with Vivian's pediatrician and to have her flu shots done. We went to McDonald's afterwards and got our 2 favorites: French fries for her and a Vanilla ice cream cone for me.
I am wearing mostly new things today. I introduce you to my second Poncho Cardigan, but I have a feeling it won't be my last lol. This Red Buffalo Plaid one with Fringed hem comes from none other than Wal Mart. It is pretty and well-made too. The Leopard Booties with chunky heels are also new (from Target). The Jeans and Tassel Bracelets are pretty new too but I have also shared them on the blog before. I had never paired Leopard with a Red+Black Plaid before but count me in as a fan. And those wooden beads - they are cool no? Well, since tomorrow is Albania's Independence Day and a National Holiday, I suit right in with Albania's colors which are Red+Black. A little patriotism and a little fashion go a long way. So, are you a fan of mixing Leopard with Red+Black Plaid? I think one print needs to be in a smaller dose than the other and they should be far enough from each-other in the look, that's why it works, here.

Yay for your snow melting!! I love this look--the black and red plaid is so fun mixed with the leopard booties! That plaid cape/scarf is such a great find!
ReplyDeleteAda, I love this look on you! The black and red look great! The leopard pairs with the plaid well. I know you are happy your snow is gone, but I am rather jealous! Where I live, we typically get snow in late October, early November. It's like it's stuck in the 50s here.
