Striped Dresses Week: Nautical Midi Dress and Plaid for Plaidurday.

Happy October, Ladies! Happy Friday! And Happy Plaid Day!! Every year on the second Friday of October, the whole world celebrates Plaid and that is known as Plaidurday. Well, Striped Dresses week continues for me. So what did I do? I naturally paired my Striped Dress with a Plaid Ruffled Top and even added a Plaid Tote Bag. And let me tell you, I loved this Outfit. Of course I had to show this today on the blog. Perfect to link with Carrie+co for the "Create 28 - A Plaid Look" which is today's prompt.

I love this Midi Navy, White and Red T-Shirt Dress. The light jersey material is very well made, fresh and comfortable. Plus I love the Midi Style and the Pocket Lapel detail with the Nautical Gold Buttons. It is definitely a Classic Striped Dress. I paired it with a Red Plaid Ruffled Button-Down Shirt which I knotted above the waist, creating the effect of a Crop Top. And for the first time ever I am carrying my Beautiful Wool Tote which is in a Patchwork Plaid and it is by Lulu. Last but not least I added brand-new Leather Booties, whose style is Classic and Timeless. Their leather feels like butter. This Outfit mixes+matches 3 different prints (all in matchy colors, though) so I kept the accessories to a minimum. I have on simple zirconia drop earrings and a few small-beaded bracelets. I wanted the stripes, plaid and my mauve lips to do most of the talking, which I think they did. I ended up wearing this yesterday. I did have a Cute Hot Pink Hooded Jacket with me for when I was outside, since it was a little chilly. But overall it worked. Vivian's Dress sort of matches mine because hers is in a Navy+White Jersey with touches of Hot Pink. Her Dress is also Nautical. Love that Dog in the middle of her dress - it makes a statement. We mixed and matched with a little bit of Orange and added more Hot Pink through her Accessories, too. She was busy watching "Milly & Molly on my iPhone so I snapped a few pictures of her.

I love this plaid shirt. The colors on it are red, gray and black which ties in my dress, bag and boots together. My Blogging Buddies Laura and Whitney are wearing super cute plaid tops on their blogs, today, also. They have Girly and Classic Midwestern style.
Stretchy Little Light Pink Pearl Bracelet (set of 2): Express.
Stretchy Little Navy Crystal Bracelet (set of 4): The Limited.

Vivian's Outfit:
Navy+White Striped Knit Dress w/ Graphic Dog in the middle: Gifted from my brother.
Orange Flower Ponytail Holder: The Limited.
White Black Barrette: H&M.
Hot Pink Mary Jane, Perforated Shoes: Gifted.
