Bohemian 70s Inspired Week: Floral Dress and an Earthy Long Cardigan.
Happy TGIF!!
Today is the third and last day of the Bohemian Collaboration I did with the Stylish Debbie this week. I mentioned before our styles are quite different but we came together this week for our love of the 70s and Bohemian Fashions. And I think we saved the best for last. I definitely see the Bohemian Inspirations on both of our looks. I will get to mine soon but first how fun and cool is that Tan Suede Fringe Vest that Debbie is rocking over her Babydoll Blouse and Denim Shorts? Love her Relaxed Comfy Suede Boots too. And look we both have Neutral Suede Boots today. For more details, make sure you stop by Fashion Fairy Dust to see Debbie's thoughts on her Boho look. =)
I really wanted this Gorgeous Dark Floral Print on the Romper version this Fall, from Old Navy. Albeit the beautiful romper was only available in a large. So, I got the next best thing: the Cami Dress. This dress is so flattering and the small fit like a glove. It shows off a beautiful cleavage too. I never saw the romper on me, but I do not miss it. Old Navy has a V-Neck Midi Sheath Dress, a Skirt, Shorts, the Pixie Pants and a Top in this Beautiful Earthy Floral Print too. I plan on going to the store soon and hope to find the top left in my size. Well, I paired the Dress with the Marled Brown/Gray Coatigan (it is a Long Cardigan which also serves as a Coat) and wore this Bohemian-Chic and Girly Look last Saturday during the daytime, when we got our first snow flurries and the temperatures dropped to 31 degrees. I know I am not wearing tights but I kept my legs warm by wearing socks underneath my boots, which adds another boho element to the look, as does the fur collar. I also did some slight pattern-mixing, because my tan socks peeking through are in an argyle pattern while the dress is in a floral. I added a Long Beaded Pendant Necklace and carried my Graphic Magazine Clutch as a Crossbody Bag (it comes with a removable chain strap) and it ended up being the perfect purse for what I needed to carry that day. I ended up loving this look. It might have to do with the fact that I love this Cami Dress. On top of it all I was having a great hair day. The weather might have been very cold for being mid October but I didn't care. Ohh and I also got 4 real-life compliments on my outfit.
Today, the prompt for "Create 28" is Long Cardigan, yesterday's was Fall Neutrals (all the colors I am wearing today are neutrals for Fall), the day before that it was Prints and Patterns (both on my Dress and on my Socks) and the day before that it was Dresses. Needless to say but I hit the nail with this Outfit on all 4. So I am linking up with Casey+co you all.
