What I wore and didn't wear on my Beach Vacation.
This is an Outfit I wore to my Beach Vacation this year. It is also the first time I am showing Shorts on the blog, this Spring and Summer. As a matter of fact I only wore Shorts IRL for the first time, just a day before we left for our Adriatic Vacation, on June 5th 2015 to be exact. We will get to the outfit above in a moment, but first I want to show you what I packed mostly and how I first styled most of these pieces at home, before leaving for Vacation.
I knew I would take photos of the outfits as layouts for two reasons: no time to take Outfit Photos on Vacation, especially since we were vacationing with my in-laws too, and secondly because I wanted to have a more vivid idea of the outfits I would create. So I had all the visual outfits I created right on my digital camera that I took with me to vacation. Almost all the photos we took were of us at the beach, by the sea or the sand and when we were (usually) on our swimsuits. You saw a sneak peak of some of My Vacation Pictures here. I stayed true to my Vacation Packing List and took my own advise. Pictured in my layout outfits the items are as below:
Items not pictured, but that I also packed were: a Watercolor Floral Maxi Dress, a pair of White+Neon Coral Tie Dye Shorts, a Silk See-through, Patterned, Long-Sleeve Blouse, Black Rubber Flip-Flops, A Floral Floppy Hat from this post, my Denim Jacket, a Kimono-like Cover-up, a large Beachy Scarf Coverup, my Floral Sunglasses and all of my Jewelry. And of course I took with me 4 different Swimsuits. As far as jewelry I packed two colorful Statement Necklaces but only one of them got worn once, a bunch of Bright and Neon Rubber and Beaded Bracelets, 2 pair of Light Colorful Dangly Earrings (which I never wore) and the Seafoam Green and Light Coral Cocktail Rings pictured here. I basically alternated/wore all of my 7 or 8 different bracelets I packe like 2-4 at a time, matching them to my outfits and swimsuits and my Cocktail Rings never came off my hands, either. I even went swimming with my rings and bracelets and they were fine.
Now the outfit I took pictures off (below) I ended up wearing it on the last day, after the beach time. This is the outfit I wore when we drove home too. So I took a couple of pictures of it really quickly. I ended up picking a necklace and a headband from my dresser and put them on since we went for a little cold drink after arriving home. But rather than that, I had packed everything else with me.

So, here are 11 Outfits I layed out and created with the pieces itemized above. In all actuality I only wore half of these outfits this way. I ended up not wearing the Strapless Yellow/Lavender dress at all. I wore my Coral Tie-Dye Shorts once, the Navy Anchor Graphic Tee once, the Maxi Dress once, the Floral Pants once. Between the pieces mentioned above and the ones not pictured (mentioned after the layout outfits), I could have easily mixed+matched at least 25 Outfits. I also wore one of my 3 Hats every day, sometimes even in the evenings.
(I didn't include the shoes in this last one because I planned to wear it with my flip-flops and at the time I didn't know which flip-flops I would pack; I ended with my black rubber ones.)
So, do you like some of the outfits I created? I think my top 3 favorites (in no particular order) are: 3, 4 and 6.
