Faking a Black Skirt Suit.

I like faking suits. I do it all the time. Like today when I wore one of my Black Pencil Skirts with one of my Black Blazers. Yes I own a few Black Pencil Skirts and a few Black Blazers - they are staples and always classic so why not. I did find 3 excellent Pencil Skirts by White House Black Market - a brand I trust for Classic Black Pencil Skirts, linked below, all on sale, so check them out. I paired these two Work Staples with a White Blouse with cute, tiny Black Polka Dots, a Pearl Necklace and Pearl Studs. Of course Black Pumps would have been just as perfect but for a little pop of color I wore my Bronze/Brown Pumps. And I did do a tiny bit of pattern-mixing between my Dots Blouse and Spider-Print Tights. I ended up loving this Chic, Elegant Work Outfit on which I got several compliments, as well. =)

  7. I do this all the time - just because pieces weren't bought together, doesn't mean they can't create a great suit look!
