Cranberry, Leopard and Gray.
Happy March and Happy first Monday of the first month of Spring (supposedly) also. I have been a lot into Burgundy (hmmm Marsala - color of the year) this Winter and its sister shades like Cranberry, Magenta, Cherry, Wine and such. As a matter of fact I am doing an entire week of Marsala next week starting on March 9th.
Today I am sharing with you this Beautiful Cranberry Sweater Dress (love the detail on the sleeves) from The Limited which I am finally no longer ignoring. That is the problem I run into since I have a million clothes and I forget about 30% of them lol. I simply wore this Sweater Dress with the Leopard-Pink Scarf in Classic Leopard Colors. However the pop of pink from the scarf picks up the red of the dress. I added in some muted colors on the bottom. I have on Blueish-Gray Paisley Tights and Olive Wedge Oxfords. I also kept it simple Jewelry-wise. I mixed+matched my Crystal Long Beaded Necklace with a Crystal Bracelet in lighter colors. Do you own a Sweater Dress in any of the Red or Burgundy shades? I would love to see how you style yours. Below, I found some cute options, also.

Since Cranberry is a Sister Color of Marsala I am also linking up with Jana and Maegen tomorrow for Color of the Year - Marsala, link-up. And one last time linking up with Carrie to wrap up Create 28. This is my Dressy (but not too dressy) look.

For some reason I wouldn't think to put marsala with grey...always with black. I really like it with grey for a softer look, though! I'll have to copy you one of these days!

ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty cranberry top! I love that the color of the year is marsala and this is a very close color! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous color on you Ada! The leopard scarf is the perfect finishing touch! I am the same way when it comes to buying clothes. I end up buying a bunch of stuff and then some of it literally sits for a year before I touch it. Although in one respect, it's sort of like discovering a surprise when you finally uncover pieces after years in your closet!
ReplyDeleteYou look wonderful, Ada! Love that we both added little pops of leopard to our looks today.
ReplyDeleteAda this color suits you sooooo well. xo Sabina | Oceanblue Style
