Houndstooth and Taupe.

A Simple, almost Colorless Outfit featuring my Houndstooth Shirt-dress, Taupe Cardigan and Taupe OTK Boots (folded down) paired with some Monochrome Gray Tights. All I did was add a Hunter Green Statement Necklace. I wore this outfit to work one day but it is casual enough to do several mom duties in or run errands about town, or even to be worn on a weekend. Taupe/Mushroom, Long-Sleeve, V-Neck Cardigan: Piazza Italia (similar crew-neck in beige melange by H&M, comes in over 10 colors, best deal), (similar by August Silk,), ( long option w/ ruching detail, great deal, love this), (gorgeous cocoon option by Anthropologie, fantastic deal).
Gold Chain, Statement Necklace w/ Forest Green, Teardrop Stones: Francesca's Collection (similar, best deal, love this), (gorgeous option by Kendra Scott, on sale, love this).
Taupeish-Gray Opaque Tights: Express (similar by Hanes, best deal), (similar by Loft, great deal, love these), (similar, microfiber option, Splurge, love thes).
Taupe-Charcoal, Over-the-Knee Boots: Purchased in Tirana (very similar by Nine West, on sale, love these), (similar, best deal), (similar in Cognac, love these).

    I like how you've tied the belt for the dress on top of the cardigan, cute touch! :)

    I don't have any shirt dresses although I love the style, they just aren't very flattering on me. I like tunic dresses though, so easy to wear :)

    I love a bit of houndstooth! I can't wear taupe though, those beigey colours don't look right on me, but with your fab dark colouring this looks great on you x
