Stripes, Plaid and a Hat.

Sometimes, I have a hard time styling this dress or deciding what shoes to wear with it. It is a classic shape and it has a boat neckline and B+W stripes so it should be easy. But it is the length that gives me a hard time. It is a Midi length, albeit the dress is a knit (sweater dress) so it doesn't lay flat like a typical pencil skirt, for example. This is one of the ways I have worn it this Winter casually, with my Gray Boots and Black Opaque Tights. I layered a Plaid Shirt underneath which brought a pop of Pink to the Outfit and added a second pattern. I wore some Dangly Bracelets and Earrings, a Statement Necklace and finished off with my Gray Cloche Hat. I don't hate the outfit but I don't love it either. What do you think? Do you own a Sweater Dress in a midi length? Speaking of a B+W Striped Sweater Dress I want this current option by Old Navy. I love that it is classic, right above the knee and it is mostly white than black (the opposite of mine). More Striped Dresses linked below.
Vivian kept yelling "Toto, toto" (which means "photo") so I snapped a couple of hers in her own Sweater Dress. Hers is a Heather Gray one with a Winky Pink Cat.

And for the first time I am joining a new link-up tomorrow, co-hosted by the Lovely Jill. And once again I am linking up with Carrie because her Create 28 today is all about Mixing Patterns, while yesterday it was all about Boots.

P.P.S. Thanks for joining the "All About You" Link-up yesterday. The link-up will still be open for a few more days.
