Mom Wear to Work Wear: Chanel-Inspired Black Blazer with Buffalo Plaid.

It has been a very busy January for me and it will very soon by February. We did a little Birthday dinner at home for Vivian yesterday and a little daycare dessert/cake party as well. I was so busy and photographing a very mobile 2-year old for still pictures or smiley pictures is nearly impossible lol. Thank you to everyone who commented and wished her a Happy Birthday on my post from yesterday. I haven't had time to take Outfit Pictures daily but I still have a ton of Outfits in my lap-top waiting to be blogged and 4-5 posts a week is the most I have been able to produce for the last 3 months, now.

Anyway, I am back (after a long time) with a Mom Wear to Work Wear post featuring 2 things I love: My Favorite Winter Black Blazer and Buffalo Plaid which I am loving this Fall/Winter 2014-2015 season. What about you? Are you adding and wearing some Buffalo Print to your closet?
This Gorgeous Chanel-inspired Black Wool Blazer with Silver Chain Trim was shuffled in my closet last Winter and forgotten. I am glad to wear it again and it has made the rounds a few times this past December/January so far. I also jumped on the Buffalo Plaid band-wagon and added two Shirts and two Scarves in this Fun, Preppy Print. Today I paired my Blazer both with one of the Scarves (for the Mom Look) and one of the Shirts (for the Work Look). For the Mom Look the B+W Buffalo Scarf was the right layer to add on since my Tee has a scoop neckline. I paired it with my Skinny Indigo Jeans with ankle zippers and my Black+Blue Patent Leather Oxfords. The Work Outfit has lots of Textures (Blazer and Tights) and Prints (Polka Dots and Buffalo Plaid) going but it is still simple enough because there are only 2 colors going on: Black and Royal Blue. I love how the Tights and Booties are the same color keeping the whole leg monochrome. The Statement Necklace in Black and White matches the Skirt, well. Let's look at each outfit below in details.
Square, Black Metallic Hair Claw w/ Red Crystals: Bijoux & Accessories.

One last time the Buffalo Plaid pieces styled, side by side.

P.S. I am linking up with Alison, Amber, Angela, Ayana, Claire, Danielle, Kristin, Laura, Lauren, Leeanne, Lindsey, Madeline, Rebecca, Shanna and Zaz. Also, Trend Spin Weekly today with Erin & Laura.

  5. I didn't realize until visiting this post how much I like polka dots and buffalo plaid together! I think it works really well here because the tiny polka dots balance the bigger plaid!

  20. The blazer and scarf look really nice together. The scarf makes the whole outfit feel more casual, but the blazer adds glam!
