Take One, Pass It On - Mom Wear to Work Wear.

Happy Monday - the first one of this month. Happy November Everybody!!

Today's post is once again about remixing my closet. I am doing both a "Take One, Pass It On" as well as a "Mom Wear to Work Wear" combined post. I took a Baby Pink Tee from the first outfit and passed it on to the second, then I took my Plaid Shirt from the second outfit and passed it on to the third. The first Outfits are very Casual Mom (running around) Looks and the third Outfit is what I wore for Work. Since we had some warmer Fall days I decided to take out a pair of my Shorts, for a spin one last time, and paired them with my Olive Utility Jacket (worn for the first time this Fall). I also wore one of my Plaid Shirts which I thrifted this Fall. And these Outfits were worn the third week of October for Breast Cancer Month, so sorry to bring more Pink your way. I wasn't able to post these during October, but here they are now. The first 2 Outfits are OK, nothing special, just me on my mom daily duties. But I am quite happy with the third Outfit. It is simple but came out looking quite nice. What do you think?

1st Outfit. This outfit combines 3 different shades of Green: Kelly Green Shorts, Olive Green Jacket and Hunter Green Scarf with my Baby Pink Tee and Matching Baby Pink Loafers. I also added my Coral/Light Pink Drop Earrings and a Pink Watch to match the rest of the Pink in the Outfit.
Hot Pink, Patent Leather Strap Watch w/ Silver Rhinestone Face & 2 Pink Rhinestone, Floating Hearts inside: An Accessories Boutique in Albania (very similar), (similar Hello Kitty, best deal),(similar, Kate Spade option, love this), (MK gorgeous fuchsia option, love this).
Gold tone Drop Earrings w/ Small Peachy-Pink Circle Stones: A Local Accessories Boutique (New) (very similar by Kate Spade, love these), (similar by Kylie Minogue, great deal, love these), (gorgeous option by Betsey Johnson, best deal).
Square, Black Metallic Hair Claw w/ Red Crystals: Bijoux & Accessories.
Baby Pink Leather "Faux Alligator" Boat Shoes: Micci Shoes (similar, best deal, love these), (similar Sperry, on sale, love these), (gorgeous option by Nine West, great deal).

2nd Outfit: My Plaid Shirt is a little short to leave untucked. It looks great tucked into Pants, Jeans and Pencil Skirts though. So, since I paired it with Leggings, I layered the Long Baby Pink Tee under the Plaid. There is a slight Pattern-Mixing going on since the Leggings have Polka Dots. I wore my Ed Hardy Sneakers with this. Also, doesn't my Burberry Wallet match my Shirt quite well?

Gold tone Drop Earrings w/ Small Peachy-Pink Circle Stones: A Local Accessories Boutique (New) (very similar by Kate Spade, love these), (similar by Kylie Minogue, great deal, love these), (gorgeous option by Betsey Johnson, best deal).
Pink-framed, Green/Rainbow Mirror "Wayfarer" Sunglasses: Random Street Vendor (New) (identical, best deal), (very similar, great deal), (gorgeous Ray Ban option, love these).

3rd Outfit: This is my way to dress up a Simple Red/Pink/Blue Plaid Button-down for Work. I tucked it into my Favorite Cropped Pants, added a Long Pearl/Fireball/Crystal Necklace and also wore my Gorgeous Radiant Orchid + Gold Flats (some of my most Favorite Ballet Flats I own - this pair has like a half-an-inch heel and they are quite dressy). This Outfit was worn on the afternoon/evening after the second outfit and it cooled off outside, so I did wear my Baby Blue Leather Jacket on top. Layers are a MUST for Fall.
Black, Dressy, Cropped Pants w/ Buckle Tab on the waist: The Limited (very similar by Tahari, best deal, love these), (similar by Gap, on sale, love these), (gorgeous option by Theory, splurge).
Baby Blue-Metallic, Soft (Real) Leather Jacket: Nordstrom Rack (New; Gift from Mom) (similar, pastel, faux leather, best deal love this), (taupe, real leather + on huge sale), (gorgeous cobalt option, quilted faux leather, love this).

  7. I'm so impressed that you were able to get one more wear out of your shorts! I've been trying to remember that I want to try a tights under shorts look. It's not something I'm super comfortable with but I think it could be cute!

  11. Love all of these looks, but my personal favorite is the last one! I love how the baby blue contrasts with the monochromatic outfit of pink/purple hues! & I love how you challenged yourself to take one and pass it on. I think I may "borrow" your idea and do that for a post one day :)
