White Ruffle Maxi Dress?!
Don't let your eyes fool you. I am not wearing a White Maxi Dress. Instead I am wearing a Maxi Skirt in a Soft Tulle with a Ruffled Hemline paired with a Cotton, Fitted One-Shoulder Tank with a Ruffle across the Neckline. But yeah it does look like a Dress, not on purpose. I just wanted to wear all White because it is the ultimate Color of Summer which never goes out of style. And truth be told I do not wear it too much (though I should).
What I like about this Skirt from The Limited (besides the unusual material) is the length. It goes above the ankle which opens up options for more shoe styles like I did here with my Bootie Gladiator Heels. If the Skirt was longer, you wouldn't be able to see these shoes entirely. My Pristine White Tank from Express, has that Chiffon Ruffle which matches perfectly the Soft Tulle Material and the Bottom Ruffle of the Skirt, therefore making both of these pieces look even more like a Dress. I added some Bangles and beaded Bracelets as well as some Dangly Beaded Earrings and since this was worn on a Dinner date by the Adriatic Sea (we live about 45 minutes away from it, if you take the free-way), the Royal Blue Clutch added the last final perfect touch. I did match one of the Bracelets (it is actually a Long Necklace worn as a Bracelet, on my right wrist) to the Clutch. These photos were taken late at night after dinner so I do apologize that my hair and makeup are not up to par. So how do you like this Skirt? Do you like that I paired it with all White? This Skirt is perfect to link up with Trend Spin Weekly which today's theme is Tulle. =)
