eShakti Dress Review and a Coupon Just for You.
In the last year, I have seen so many Beautiful Pieces from eShakti on so many of my Favorite Style Bloggers, especially some Gorgeous Dresses and Skirts. So when one of their representatives contacted me some weeks ago, about sending me one of their pieces to do a review on my blog, I was happy and of course I said Yes. Who doesn't want a New *Free* Dress? Of course I knew immediately I wanted to chose a dress since I love dresses. Among so many pretty pieces especially in Stripes and Florals, I settled for this one because it was unlike anything else on their website and unlike anything I own. The print is whimsical - it is bicycles. The color is like a Rosy Pink that I would best describe as "Brick". Actually I am happy to say that the Color was more Vivid in person than on their website.
The best part is that I could custom-design the Dress if I wanted to. On the website, this dress had cap sleeves. I opted for elbow-length sleeves since I need more dresses with sleeves in my wardrobe. I could have switched the neckline, hemline or gotten rid of the pockets too if I liked, but I wanted to keep the other parts of the dress as is. I loved that the dress had a midi skirt since I happen to think that length is flattering on all body parts as are A-line, full skirts. With the modest length, the dress can be appropriate for many occasions as well. I also had the option to custom-make the dress in my own personal size, which means I could have given the website my exact measurements and they would create my own tailor-made dress. I decided to get my Dress in my usual size. I wear either a size 4 or 6 in a Dress, but the website said that this dress ran a little smaller on the top, so since I am pretty well-endowed on top, I went for the 6. The dress fits pretty nice but not perfect. It is a little big on top and it gaps a little (especially when sitting) and the scoop open neckline in the front and low V-back are a little bit wider than I'd have preferred, but I have a very good and thrifty tailor who I think can make it look perfect. However it is still an Adorable Dress, which I love. And the best part is that they have many other Beautiful 50's inspired Dresses as well as other styles and they run anywhere from $55.00-$100.00. That is an excellent price for a well-made, custom-made Dress. I am a fan.
Overall I am happy with the dress I chose. I love the style, color, print and material - it's a Chambray (love! love! love!). I am also very happy with eShakti's Customer Service. They promise to deliver a custom-made for you dress in 10-14 business days and they deliver! My Dress arrived by the 12th day. I would love to try a more fitted silhouette dress next time with my own exact measurements and I am interested to try one of their skirts, also. This first time around I had a very pleasant experience.
The first time I wore this Dress (as you see in today's post) was a couple of weeks ago, but due to some far away traveling and just being a busy woman in general, I am finally getting around to this post (my apologies). I wore it to a Charity Luncheon. I was among a group of 60 women, some of which very powerful and successful. We raised a lot of money and I got a lot of compliments on my dress. I wanted to play with the Retro feel of the Dress and I paired it with my Ruffled Mustard Wedges which are a bit different and quirky, also. To tie the Dress and Shoes together I chose my Metallic, Rainbow Flower Statement Necklace and I finished off with some Silver Drop Earrings. (I do apologize that the Dress appears a little bit wrinkled but the photos were taken after the luncheon.) What do you think of how I styled this Dress for my first time?
