Little Red, Jelly, Bow Sandals.
It finally warmed up here by Sunday, then a little warmer yesterday during the day but cooled off in the evening and it got pretty windy. Then today during the day it was still chilly and rainy. We are having the most unpredictable, weird weather this May. However, yesterday I wore some Sandals (finally!!) and some light layers. The Sandals are little Red Bow Jelly Sandals that I purchased last Spring on excellent final sale for like 8 bucks. They were left over from the Summer, the only pair left and in my size. It was fate! LOL I like that the bows have a little bit of sparkle through the little rhinestones. And Red is my favorite color. Making Red my main pop of Color in this Outfit like I did yesterday and also wearing a Navy Blazer like I did yesterday. The rest of the Outfit consists of Breezy Cropped Pants that are between a Purple and a Cobalt Color, a Dressy White Tank and my Dark Denim (Navy) Blazer which I have had since the days of Casual Corner - do any of you remember that store or shopped there? I added my little (new) Silk, Floral Scarf for both interest and as a completer piece to the whole look. I tied it in a Bow which is usually what I do with little square silk scarves. This Outfit was worn for a daytime date with Vivian - a day spent at the cafe, the park, having ice-cream and some grocery-shopping. It was very Comfy yet Put-together and I even got a couple of real-life compliments (and in my humble opinion, those are the best). Have you worn Sandals lately? Do you own a pair of Jelly Sandals?
The only picture I managed to get with Vivian yesterday when she turned 16 months. She was too excited to go outside and enjoy the sun!! I cannot blame her. After so many rainy days in a row, poor girl was 'locked' inside. (May 19, 2014).
White, 100% Square Silk Scarf in a Red/Yellow/Green Floral Print: c/o a Local Accessories Boutique (New) (similar 1), (similar 2 + gorgeous), (black+white floral, on sale).
Red, Jelly, Bow Sandals w/ Sparkly little Stones: Il Cammino (similar + a great deal), (similar 2), (ballet flat option).
Vivian isn't phased by me capturing her cuteness, sun directly on her face and all. She is playing with her phone. She loves anything with buttons, that talks and/or plays music. Hard to believe she turned 16 months yesterday. It seems like it was just yesterday when I found out I was pregnant.
Navy, Light Denim Jacket w/ Zipper: Casual Corner (similar), (classic, work piece).
White, Cotton Tank w/ See-Through Crocheting Detail on the Neckline: The Limited (very similar), (similar 1), (similar 2, on sale + in 5 colors).
Cobalt Blue, Skinny Cropped Pants: Calliope (very similar), (similar, in many colors + prints).
Light Orange, Round-face, Quartz Watch: Gift from My Husband (New) (very similar, on sale), (similar 1), (similar 2, love this).
1 Light Peach & 1 Red Identical Bangles w/ Silver Beads twisted around a Silk Ribbon: A Local Boutique.
Black Skinny Belt w/ Gold Hardware: Taken away from a Dress (very similar), (similar 1) (similar 2, great deal).
Stop by here tomorrow to see our third week of Spring Must Haves. Thank you so much for reading. =)
Glad it's finally starting to warm up for you! :) Isn't it crazy how jellies are back? I have a pair of hot pink t-strap jellies; feels like the 90s again!
