13 of 30: Silver with Navy and A Birthday!

Before I get on to Today's Outfit I want to take a minute to wish My Beautiful Mother a Happy Birthday. =) She is Stylish too. Look at her Mixing Prints: Striped Cardigan with Polka Dot Jeans.

My Incredible Mom celebrates her birthday today on April 14th. Vivian and I are so Lucky and Blessed to have this lady in our lives who opens her heart with Unconditional Love, every day. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my Wonderful Mamma from Vivian & I. We  so very much. And we miss you a ton, also...

The photos of my Mom from this post (as you can tell since Vivian looks so little), are 5-6 months old. It has been about 6 months since I haven't seen her. See, I live on Europe and she lives in USA. It is unfortunate that we live so far. But we talk on the phone every day and Skype at least twice a week. This far away distance has made me grow closer to her and appreciate her more each day. She is truly a wonderful human being and a phenomenal mom. I wish to be just as good as a Mom to Vivian as she has been/is to me.

Now let's move on to Lucky #13. I finally wore my Pretty Silky+Silver Blazer which hadn't been worn since my last Corporate Job in US. I paired it with my Nude Lace Tee (also worn for the first time during this challenge) and my Navy+Black, Tuxedo-inspired Skinny Pants. I can see this Outfit working for errands, lunch or even work (as long as your office is pretty relaxed). I am matching my Lavender Earrings to my Lavender Bracelets. And the Stripes of my Bracelet matches the Striped Lining of my Blazer. Talk about little details!? I am loving the Pastels on top with the Dark Colors on the bottom. What about you? Do you own a Silver Blazer? What Colors would you pair it with?

Pros: Very Simple Outfit I threw together. I felt Put-together with such easy pieces. The Blazer definitely dresses it up, too.

Cons: I am not sure my Black Oxfords were the Right Shoes to wear here. Perhaps my Navy/Polka Dots Ballet Flats would have worked better?!
