Black and White... with Navy?!
I had planned on posting a different Outfit and a little update on Vivian plus a sneak peek from her 1-year Birthday, but it has been a rough week and a very challenging Sunday, I barely got around to doing house work. At least laundry and dishes got done and I folded and put clothes away. With a very challenging week we have had with Vivian teething and being fussy and sleeping less than usual at night, last evening she also started coughing badly. It is a pretty bad cough so I am taking her first thing this morning (it is Monday morning here) to the doctor to see what's up. Keep Vivian in your prayers for me. Thank you.
Anyway, I don't think I have ever done Black+White paired with Navy before. These 3 subdued Colors worked together. The Pencil Skirt with the Zebra Cardigan would have worked for an Office/Job environment, but perhaps paired with a pair of Black or Nude Pumps, ditching the Oxford Shoes and the Beret Hat. But I am a stay at home Mom and a dress code I have not. I wanted to add some Bold aspect to my Cardi+Skirt Look so I went for it. It was worn on a Monday morning/lunch time, having coffee and later lunch with my best friend and her baby boy (our babies are 4 weeks apart). I also have quite some bling on my ears. The actual Outfit would be appropriate for church too, now that I think of it. What do you think? Do you like the Outfit or does anything seem/look forced? Tell me the truth - I appreciate it.
A couple more things: You still have a couple more days to link up a Winter Outfit with us. The link up will be open until Tuesday February 4th at Midnight PST. Thank you to everyone who linked up so far. And yesterday I reflected on January as a whole. It was an interesting post so don't miss it. Would love to know what you think about it. Next, I am posting about my Purchases and Spending from last month. =)
