Mom's Winter Must Haves: Long Necklaces and Infinity Scarves.

Once again this week LAURA from I Do CeClaire and I are styling two Winter items we both love to have in our closets, as Moms. We are bringing you 2 Must Have Accessories for Winter, today: Long Necklaces and Infinity Scarves. These items are great decorations for both the Neck and the Sweaters we wear for Winter. A Long Necklace looks great with a Turtleneck, a Crew-neck Sweater or even Layers. An Infinity Scarf is like a warm Necklace for the neck. While it keeps us warm, it is also a Great Layering Piece and it adds interest to an Outfit. Don't you think?
Week one Laura and I styled Cozy Sweaters and Sweater Dresses, week two we styled Puffer Vestsweek three we styled Fair Isle and last week we styled both Bold Coats and Knit Hats/Headbands. We have a couple more installments for you. So far this series has been a lot of fun and Laura has been a great partner for this, with me. This week for the Long Necklaces' Outfits we both chose Casual but Put-together Looks, while for the Infinity Scarves' Outfits we chose Dressy-Casual Outfits with lots of Layering. Below you will see each of my Outfits with details but let's talk about Laura's Outfits, first.

Laura - the master of Vests that she is - paired her new Dark Indigo Jeans with a Neutral Fur Vest and a Black+White Polka Dot Blouse. The Long Gold Pendant Necklace is matched with the rest of her Gold Jewels and picks up the colors of the Vest as well as matches the Nude Ballerinas, perfectly. =) For her Infinity Scarf Outfit she chose a must have Scarf for every woman - a Leopard one. She mixed Prints by pairing it with a Black+White Striped Dress in the perfect length to wear with thick Tights or Leggings (which she did) and added a Long, Red Cardigan. Her Camel Leather Boots & Belt are a great pair. I love both of her Outfits but prefer the one with the Scarf, slightly more. How do you like her 2 Outfits? To view them better click here.

For the Long Necklace, I am wearing one of the Favorites I own. This is from Parfois - which is a European brand of Accessories and Custom Jewelry. One of my favorite stores to get Jewelry from. It is a Dark Gold, Woven Rope with the Circle Wreath hanging down like a Pendant and Fringe/Tassel on the bottom. I styled it with my Navy+White, Striped, Boat-neck Sweater from White House Black Market (with a Tank Top underneath) and my New, Teal Skinny Pants. The little Skinny Belt I got on is too cute: Faux Python Magenta with Stretchy, Silver Metallic. I added my Black+Leopard, Suede Loafers and that was it. Do you like how Simple yet Chic, this Casual Outfit is? Do you wear Long Necklaces? Do you like them? What do you think of my new Teal Skinnies?

For the Infinity Scarf, I chose a new one I was gifted this December (courtesy of an Accessories Store I shop a lot, in Albania). It is a Soft Velvet Argyle/Fair Isle Printed Scarf in Rich Colors like Maroon, Winter White & Red. I filled this Outfit with many Trends and mixed many Colors and Prints. My Mint Blouse has Zebras printed on it. The Long Open Cardigan is Camel and the Gloves are Finger-less. They are Beige and look like an extension of the Cardigan (I love them). These Dark Blue Skinny Jeans are one of my Favorite pairs. I have on one of my Favorite Styles of Hats for cold months - a Burgundy Beret. This one looks a little like a Baseball cap, too. And last but not least I have on Black Patent Leather Pumps which go with everything. I took a lot of photos so I would show you the layers well, taking some of them off at once, too. These Outfits are from last week. Don't mind the Christmas Tree LOL. What do you think of this Layered, Trendy Look? Would you wear it or does it have too much going on? Are you wearing Infinity Scarves this Winter? And what do you think of Finger-less Gloves?
Camel, Linen/Cotton Blend, Belted, Open Cardigan: Victoria's Secret.

  1. The color of your teal pants is just gorgeous! Your pop of color with the belt is a cute accent. And we seemed to have the exact thing in mind when talking about styling long necklaces and in regards to a leopard scarf! ;) I really like the magenta and mint together in your second outfit. Definitely wouldn't have thought of that combination, but I really like it! That is neat that you got your scarf c/o. :)

    1. Thanks so much Laura. WOW so many compliments. Don't know what to address first. But yeah great minds think alike. And in the last couple of months, I too, have gotten some things c/o from different boutiques and European brands - most of which know about the blog, as well. =)

    1. I think I too prefer the first outfit. Though quite simple, the color of the pants stands out and the necklace makes it a little more glam.
