Mom's Winter Must Haves: Cozy Sweaters and Sweater Dresses.

Last Summer I brought you Mom's Summer Must Haves in a collaboration with AGI from Vodka Infused Lemonade. Then for Fall, I collaborated with HEATHER from H&K Style Journey to show you our Fall Must Have Items for Moms. Starting this week I am collaborating with LAURA from I Do DeClaire to bring you Mom's Winter Must Haves. So stay tuned for the next 8 weeks because we are showing you some great, versatile, Must-Have Items that every Mom should have in her closet for Winter, to stay Stylish too, of course.

First, we are showing you Cozy Sweaters. This is such a Versatile Winter Staple. Cozy Sweaters keep us Warm, Cozy & Put-together. They are perfect for layering with, in Winter. I love how in both of Our Outfits we had Red in mind, since the Holidays are here. We are both showing you Red with Black+White which is a Lovely Trio Combo. We both have on Open Cardigans and both paired these Sweaters with Boots. Laura's Outfit is simply Stunning. She is Dressy, Elegant and ready to tackle a Cold Wintery Morning.

For my Outfit I paired my Dark Red Jeans with a Bright Red Tee which has lots of Sparkle (through Beads & Rhinestones) along the Neckline. It was part of a Holiday collection, 3 years ago at White House Black Market. I added my New, Winter-themed, Black+White Cardigan and an additional Red comes through my Skinny, Burgundy Belt. I also added Sparkly Red+Silver, Holiday Studs. What is hard to see from the photos however is that I have on a Black Snood which is basically an Infinity Scarf. It is a Black, Wool, Cable-Knit Snood that paired with the Collar of the Cardigan looks one and the same. Between the Snood and the Boots I was definitely bundled up for a real cold day. What do you think?
Black+White, Winter-themed, Fair Isle, Collared & Belted, Wool Cardigan Sweater: Urban Outfitters (New).
Red, Crew-neck, 3/4-Sleeve Tee w/ Silver+Gold Jeweled Neckline: White House Black Market.
Cherry Red, "Osa Slim", Skinny Jeans: Martin & Osa.
Black, Thick Wool, Cable Knit Snood (Scarf): c/o Bershka (New).
Red+Silver, Wreath, Stud Earrings: A Local Boutique (New).
Burgundy, Patent Leather, Faux Ostrich, Skinny Belt: White House Black Market.
Charcoal Gray, Quilted & Rubber, Lace-up Rain Boots: Costco.

Next, this week, Laura and I are showing you Sweater Dresses. We both wore very Comfy, Basic, Dark-Colored Sweater Dresses. Neutral Colors when it comes to Sweater Dresses are best, since they can be worn with so much more, including wearing some Light or Bright Colors with them, like Laura did adding Purple. Laura's Dress with the Sash Belt has the perfect knee-length, and paired with Tall Black Boots and a Gorgeous Statement Necklace would be great for work.

I paired my Dark Blue Dress that has Black, Lace-print Stripes with a Gold/Olive/Brown Paisley Pashmina, this way mixing some prints. I have on Dark Charcoal Gray, Tweed-looking Tights. The Black+Blue, Patent Leather Oxfords match the Sweater Dress to a T. While the Bracelet brings out the colors of the Scarf even more, since the Pashmina & Bracelet have the same Colors, pretty much. What do you think of this Look? Do you like Sweater Dresses? How do you wear them?
And here is the Christmas Tree (and Stockings) in our Household this Holiday Season 2013. What do you think? Click on the collages to see the bigger.
