Holiday Looks - a Holiday Sweater.

This is the third Tuesday of my Holiday Looks Mini Series. Last week I styled a Bustier. And the previous week I styled a Little Black Dress. This week I am styling a Holiday Sweater. Just this last month I added several Holiday Sweaters to my closet, including this one. And Holiday Sweaters don't have to be ugly anymore. To me Holiday Sweaters can be Red, Green, Silver, Winter White or Gold. They can have Winter Themes like Santa, Fair Isle, Snowflakes, Owls or Reindeers. Plaid especially Tartan and Bows are also perfect on Sweaters for Holidays. They can have Sequins, Sparkles or some other type of Embellishments. As I am typing this I am wearing another Holiday Sweater from what I am posting today. As a matter of fact, because Sweaters are the IT Item of Winter, I will showcase another Holiday Sweater on Thursday, too. So stay tuned.
Today's Look includes this Vibrant Red, Cable Knit Sweater which has very subtle Red & Silver Sequins. It has a nice little surprise on the back, too. The back has a loop-hole which ties over with a Red Satin Bow. I styled it with my Vegan Leather, Quilted Skater Skirt which hadn't been worn since September, shockingly. When I purchased this Trendy Skirt, I fell in love with it. But 3 months went by and it took the Holiday Season for me to re-wear it. I paired it (during the day) with Color-blocked Python Pumps and Black Tights. I added my Long Crystal Necklace from White House Black Market with the matching multi-stranded Bracelet. What do you think of this Holiday Outfit? Does it have enough Sparkle for you?
This Look would be Perfect for a Holiday Party. I definitely Dressed up the Sweater between all the Silver Jewels and the High Heels. Later on, during the evening, I paired the same Outfit with Red Flats, ditched the Jewelry and added a Scarf for warmth and interest since Leopard+Red are a perfect pair.

  4. Love that skirt on you! I saw a similar style at Target this season and was so excited about it...until I tried it on and just didn't think it was flattering on me. I'm still holding out hope I'll find one that works for me though! :)
