Double Sweaters for Me and Neon Bright for Vivian. Plus an Announcement.

Hello & Happy Hump Day. Is it really middle of the week, already? I woke up after just few hours of sleep, because Vivian went to bed too late and woke up too early. I am tired and can really use a coffee (European style - Espresso) but a part of me just want to stay home with my PJs on. At times like these, an Espresso Machine or Coffee Maker would be necessary. I am willing to buy an American Coffee Maker but it is hard finding American Coffee here. I mean they do sell it but not everywhere. I think when Vivian takes her morning or early afternoon nap, I am about to do the same. Between my lack of sleep, the cold weather & gray skies - it is exactly what the doctor ordered. Fortunately, Vivian is feeling better. Thank you for caring.

Before I get on to today's Outfit I wanted to make a couple of Announcements. First off - 2 weeks ago on Tuesday November 5th I had the Lovely Ashley make an appearance on my blog. Unfortunately, some of you couldn't see the photos of her 3 Fabulous Outfits. She did a great job compiling that Special Post for me so I fixed the photos and I want for you to take a peek again because you won't be disappointed. =) Secondly - and this is something I am super Excited about - I am guest Hosting a Link-up for the second time. Tomorrow I will be the Guest Host of a Popular Link-up along two Beautiful Bloggers, Lovely Ladies & Stylish Gals. I am keeping their names a surprise. Just stay tuned tomorrow. It will be a great Fashion Post. We are each styling one of the Popular Fall/Winter Trends of 2013. =) And knowing those Ladies, I am 100% sure their Outfits will be Fantastic.

Today I got on double Sweaters: a Sweater Dress and an Open, Cozy, Flyaway Cardigan. Both of these items are must haves for me between November through April. I wear them a lot. If you do not own a Sweater Dress and an Open Cardigan, go get one of each. They are versatile, chic and trendy and just about any store carries them. I find nice ones at Express, Loft, White House Black Market & the Limited. Blue+Black is not a Color combo I wear often but if done correctly it works. I have 3 different shades of Deep Blues here: Royal Blue Dress, Dark Blue Tights & Navy in my shoes. They are Black+Navy Patent Leather Oxfords and I love them. A Long Necklace usually works real well with a Sweater Dress, especially this one which has a Boat Neckline. I added some Drop Earrings & a Colorful Headband - my trademark - and called it a Monday. (This Outfit was worn this past Monday, 2 days ago.) Between all of these Cozy Knits this Outfit is perfect to link up with Laura+Erin for their Trend Spin - Sweaters. I kept Vivian in Bright, Neon Shades of Yellow, Cobalt, Coral & Pink. It was her first day of feeling a lot better after a week of being sick and after her short hospital stay on Sunday. I was so glad seeing her smile once again. =) I hope you enjoy our Outfits.

  1. I would probably have never thought to layer a sweater dress with another sweater, but it looks great!

  4. I love sweater dresses! I am actually wearing one right now. They are so comfy and a nice alternative for the cooler temps in place of a skirt. They are much warmer too :) So glad to hear Vivian is feeling better. She looks like she is in her adorable pictures!
