A Little Paris, a Little Animalistic, a Little Layered.

Besides Leopard, Zebra, Python, Cheetah, Cow-Print & Alligator Skin what qualifies as Animal Print? I think even the items printed with actual Animals on them qualify, don't they? What about Ostrich & Houndstooth? Kind of? Well, I am an Animal-Print Lover, in particular a Leopard Lover. I lost count of how many pieces of Leopard I have. I seriously have over 40, including Leopard on my Accessories and Jewelry. I think I am only missing a Leopard Ring. Actually the Classic Brown/Black/Beige Leopard to me is a Neutral. I definitely treat it as such, especially when paired with Solids. For the Animal Print inspiration for last Thursday's Threads at "Work Clothes I Suppose" I wanted to take the more subtle, not-in-your-face Animal-Print route. I am once again wearing a Faux Fur Scarf in like a Gray/Smoke Color. I couldn't really point the Animal Print to you exactly. Could it be in the ferocious cat family I am not sure. It is definitely Animalistic though. And Vivian is mixing and matching different shades of Leopard.

Today's Outfit also has a lot of layers, perfect for the colder days we are having, as well as Laura's from "Walking in Memphis in High Heels" Trend Spin Link-up this Tuesday. I am also introducing to you new clothes: the Sweater, Boots, Motorcycle Jacket & Scarf are all new. This Outfit has a little bit of everything: Faux Fur, Faux Leather Jacket, Studs, Buckles & Grommets, Colored Jeans and a Graphic Sweater. I love this new "Paris" Sweater that I purchased for 15 bucks. All my new clothes were a great deal actually: Boots = $35, Jacket =$25, Sweater =$15 & Scarf =$10. That is a total of 85 dollars for 4 items. The Jeans I have had for about 4 years by one of my favorite stores that closed shop "Martin & Osa". They either costed $29 or $39 if I remember correctly. And get this, Today's Outfit was actually worn today on Monday November 25th, that is why I am blogging really late Monday Night. Though I thought I was warm enough dressed like this, it was still chilly even for layers. My OOTD is actually very similar to this Outfit from last Thursday. It has some of the same elements (Moto Leather Jacket & Faux Fur Scarf) and even some shades of the same Colors (Red & Cognac) yet they are both quite different. What do you think?

    1. The weather got bad soon, here, It seriously went from 60-70 degrees to 35-45 range. Plus where I live it rains a ton and that makes the cold even bitter. When it rains it is windy, also.

Thanks for the compliments. I also think, things printed with an actual animal on them and houndstooth count as Animal Print. But I'd also put Houndstooth in the Plaid category. You looked great today. Thanks for stopping by, Laura. =)
