Mom's Must Have Fall Items Series - Week 3 CORDUROY PANTS.
It is week three of our Mom's Fall Challenge, between Heather of H&K Style Journey. The first week we styled Cardigans. Last week we styled Statement Necklaces & Scarves.
This week we are bringing you what we consider a Fall Basic Bottom: Corduroy Pants. When I wear these Pants I am reminded that My Favorite Season - Fall - is here. I just want to sip some Hot Tea & eat a piece of Pumpkin Pie. I own a lot of Corduroy Pants so coming up with Outfit ideas for thee 2 Outfits was easy. I wanted to stick with some Strong Fall Colors though so I chose the Sand/Camel pair & a Raspberry-Red pair. I have had each pair of pants for over 5 years. Both Tops I am wearing have been on my closet for many years. They are both from Express. It goes to show you that the Color Mustard as well as Polka Dots have always been Stylish, don't you agree?

First is the Outfit featuring the Sand Corduroys that I paired with a coordinating Color - Mustard. I love this Silk Knit Sweater but I might have to let it go because it fits a little too tight & too short for me now. I don't have the body I did 7 years ago. I added a splash of Brown with my Camisole (peeking from under the Sweater) & added even more Fall Colors through my Jewelry set which is Burgundy with splashes of Silver. I brought out the Silver of the Jewelry through the Pointy Wedge Pumps (which I love). What do you think of Outfit #1?
Mustard, V-Neck, Silk Knit Sweater: Express.
Chocolate Brown Stretch Nylon Tank Top: The Limited.
Sand/Camel Corduroy, Boot-cut Pants w/ exposed Buttons on the Front: Abercrombie & Fitch.
Burgundy, Red & Silver, Sparkly, Beaded Necklace, Bracelet & Earrings Set: White House Black Market.
Yellow & Cognac, Rectangle, Soft Leather Purse: Payless.
Silver & Lucite, Patent Leather, Pointy-Toe Wedge Pumps: Nine West.
In this Outfit I am wearing a Silk Chiffon Black+White Polka Dot Blouse (love those Sleeves) with Bold Raspberry-Colored Cords. Though the Pointy Flats are Navy & White, the Polka Dots play off each-other in both pieces. The Fake Crocodile Handbag and the Velvet Blazer (it was chilly when I wore this) add some more Richness to this layered Fall Outfit. What do you think of Outfit #2?
Black+White, Polka Dot, Silk Chiffon Blouse: Express.
Black Velvet Blazer w/ Military detail: White House Black Market.
Raspberry-Red, Corduroy, Boot-cut Pants: Express.
Real Gold, Tiny Drop Earrings w/ Square Cubic Zirconia Stones: The Limited.
Burgundy, Patent Leather, Faux Ostrich, Skinny Belt: White House Black Market.
Black, Patent Leather, Faux Crocodile Bag: Marshalls.
Navy+White, Suede Leather, Pointy Toe Ballet Flats: Gap (New).
Here is how Heather styled her 2 Corduroy Looks. Below is my Favorite Look of the two. Plaid and Cords say Cozy Fall to me.
