Mom's Must Have Summer Items Series - Week 5 GIRLY TOP.

Welcome to the 5th and last post of "Mom's Summer Must-Have Item Series". I am sorry this post is so late but I haven't had time (once again) to write this earlier in the morning or even better to be able to schedule it ahead. Anyway, here it is.

This last week we are featuring a total Must-Have a Girly or a Pretty Top. This can be a Silky Camisole, a Blouse, something Ruffled, a Cute Halter Top, so basically something with a Girly Silhouette. God only knows my closet is filled with Girly Tops and Blouses. I use them both in Dressy Outfits and Casual Outfits. They can dress up anything more Casual. For this Challenge I chose a Cute, Girly, Polka Dot Top in Tiered Ruffles and it even has a Dressy, Girly Material: Soft Tulle.

For the day Outfit I paired my Tiered, Ruffled, Black+White, Polka Dot Top with Simple, Casual Khaki Shorts and added a Pop of Color with my Bright Yellow Flip Flops. I always love how Yellow looks paired with Black+White. I wore one of my Most Favorite pairs of Studs in Silver+Black for just enough Sparkle & wore this Outfit shopping at the Mall with the Baby & My Mom. While for the Evening Outfit I went all out and paired this top with a Red, Satin Mini Skirt (which has some fun Gold Metallic Detail on the back - I wish you could see). I chose Red Satin Rose Pumps & Matching Clutch (they matched the Skirt to Perfection). I also added a Light, Simple, Beaded Necklace, Silver Chandelier Earrings & a Silver/Black Metallic Cuff. This Outfit was worn for a Girls Night Out, just last night. =) How do you feel about Girly Tops? Which of these Outfits do you like better and why?

  4. I've learned just how important it is, when adding to your wardrobe, to make sure pieces are versatile. It's so great when you can transition something from day to night like you did here :)

    1. You are so right Nikki. I used to buy many useless things just because they were cute, cheap or trendy. But know I buy more purposefully. Thanks for stopping by. =)
