Black White with Thin Stripe.
It is June 4th and I realize I haven't yet posted an OOTD for this month. I have to rectify that, especially since I have a lot of un-posted outfits filling up the memory of my lap-top. Actually, I could go this entire month without wearing any outside clothes and still have enough fresh, new outfits to post at least 5 times a day. These outfits go from totally Summery to sort of Wintery because that is the weather we have had here for the past month, between 45 to 75 sometimes as high as 85 degrees. Bipolar, Crazy Global Warming, people! Right now, it is chilly enough to wear Tights or layer up, while yesterday at this time, bare legs were definitely a must!
I must say, as much as I love Color & wear a lot of Colors and have never been one to shy away from any color, I also love Black, White or Black+White paired together. I think Black+White is so Chic, Easy, Simple & Classic no matter what the occasion or whether you are going for a Casual or a Dressy Look. I also think Stripes besides being oh-so-cute are so versatile. I love Stripes (who doesn't?!) and to me they are a Neutral, especially Black+White Stripes. I think I may have worn this top only once before on the blog. Today's Outfit is simple, it can be interpreted as both Casual or Dressy. You can wear it to lunch, work, brunch or even a shower. Actually, you can get away with this for cocktails & appetizers after work, too. The Skirt is slightly Pleated and it has Pockets. It also has a bulit-in Belt with a Plastic Rectangle Buckle. And I might have purchased this V-Neck top because it has thin Stripes (which may be dizzy if looked at for a long time, but I still love it). It is actually a Light Knit (Sweater type). I added my Silver Rhinestone Butterfly, Satin Headband (my Necklace is a Silver Rhinestone Bunny by the way) and my Orange+Green Colorblock Ballerinas for some Color & I felt ready to tackle anything the day would give me ahead. What do you think?
F.Y.I. We went shopping that day mostly for Mommy, so the photos of Vivian and I are at a Boutique featuring American Brands (brings me a little close to my second home) named "American Fashion & Jewelry" that someone I know (a neighbor) owns. I purchased a few things (coming in my May Budget Post, soon).

ReplyDeleteYes, I always have Back-up Photos. It seems I am always at least 2 weeks behind. Plus, a lot of times I change Outfits twice a day. I don't necessarily post them chronologically. Sometimes I do certain Fashion Challenges so I post that on the actual Challenge Day.
DeleteLove the black and white! Stripes, black and white are my absolute go-to when I want to feel cool fashionable and fun. How fun to shop at your friend's boutique too! I wish I had thought ahead to get more back up photos. I didn't expect my healing to take so long and so I haven't had a lot to post.
ReplyDeleteBlack+White and Stripes never ever go or should go out of style. Having back-up outfits is always great. You never know. And for sick days, you can always ask one of your many readers to Guest Post. I would be Happy to do it.
DeleteGreat black and white styling! Vivian just gets more precious every day.
