Circles, Dots and Animal Spots.

Due to time restraints (a.k.a. Vivian is a Night Owl therefore I have become one, too LOL), I will keep this short today. Ladies I don't know how you do it with small children and/or babies. I barely have time to eat, pee & shower. I mean it. I give you lots of props. Anyway... moving on.

Today I am wearing My Favorite Purple Skirt (this Pencil Lilac one) with a Blouse in the same color with lots of Swirls, Dots & a Bow-Tie Neckline - one of my Favorite types of necklines because I find them real Girly. I am no longer neglecting this Beautiful Silk Top which has been in my closet for a few years and only gotten a couple of wears. While the Blouse is Patterned, so are my Tights which are an Exotic Animal Print, sort of like a Modern Leopard in Lavender & Gray. And I threw some Olive Green there with my Oxford Booties & Military Blazer, to create a nice little mixer.

Circle & Polka Dot Lavender, Bow-Tie, Silky Blouse: Express.
Lilac, Sexy Pencil Skirt: London Girl Boutique.
Military Green, Military-Style Jacket w/ Pockets: Ann Taylor Loft.
Skinny Rectangle, Silver Earrings w/ Gray Stone in the Middle: White House Black Market.
Lavender & Gray, Leopard Tights: Lauma.
Olive Green, Wedge, Oxford Booties: Old Navy.

  1. Motherhood is fun, huh? It's exhausting when they are little like Vivian, but I promise it gets easier :)

I really like the olive green jacket paired with the purple. Of course you know I love purple, so I love this outfit! Heather

    1. Actually Motherhood is fun, both for real and sarcastically. I am still very new to this. I hope it gets easier. It is exhausting raising a baby though. They have so many needs and need someone to take care of them the entire time. They are so worth it though. Babies are miracles, so beautiful. I wouldn't trade my girl or this time (exhausted and all) for anything.

I know you love Purple and Purple loves you back, meaning it looks good on you. =)

  2. I love those tights! And that military jacket is such a fun, functional piece. I want one- everyone should own one!

I hear you on the baby night owl stuff...gets to you after awhile, huh? Bear is a night owl too but is sleeping for 8-9 hour straight stretches now so I can't complain. Vivian will be doing the same before you know it!

    1. I love the tights too. I'd love to add a Tan/Khaki Military Blazer to my Closet and an Olive Military Vest, too.

Well, the problem with Vivian is till she actually goes to sleep. She hasn't been feeling very good lately too and I am afraid she has a little cold. Plus the weather has been rainy & crappy here for the last 3 weeks - the entire time she has been crabbier than usual. Once she falls asleep though she is good for 4-6 hours, then she awakes for feeding, then she sleeps again another couple of hours, one more feeding & diaper change and a last period of 1-2 hours of sleep and that is her night/morning sleeping process.

    1. I know, I barely have time for anything. Every mom says it gets easier. But as they grow at each age, they have other things that worry a mom. I love the skirt, it is true.

  6. The purple top is beautiful. Things will get easier, but then as they older some things get easier and others get harder. I'm hosting a link up next thursday April 11. Show me your favorite Spring trend. Hope to see you there.

  7. I cannot believe you just had a baby. You look great! Purple is a great color on you for sure. Sorry I haven't commented much. As you state here, the life of a mother (I have 3 kids) is a busy one.
