Week's Best Looks: The Challenge from the Last Week of March.

Hi there. How was your Saturday? It was beautiful, sunny and dare I say... HOT here in Tirana today. =) We took the baby out for a couple of hours and she loved it. She stayed really good for the most part. Speaking of Vivian, she is exactly 10 weeks old today. SO HAPPY 10-WEEK MY ADORABLE, LITTLE CUPCAKE AND MAY YOU LIVE TILL YOU ARE 100 YEARS OLD!! I will update you on her, with a post, towards the beginning of next week. For now, I am doing this Part one of Week's Best Looks. I am doing things a little different this week not only because there were A TON of Lovely Looks this week, but also because there was a 5 Days, 5 Ways Challenge, hosted by and Franziska of Franish. Both of these girls have Style Galore, both are unique in their ways and true to themselves. And I love both of their blogs. Because of this challenge and the fact that many bloggers joined it (including myself), there were a lot of cute, nice looks for me to like and choose from, that is why I am doing a Special Edition of this Week's Challenge first. I will be posting More Great Looks from this week, on Sunday, as usual. =)

First you will see a Collage of the Hostesses: Fran & Whit. They both stayed true to their Fashion Sense and Style. Fran wears more Pants and likes layering with Scarves, Blazers, Tees & Button-downs paired with Ballet Flats or Loafers. While Whit prefers her Pencil Skirts & A-line, Bucket Skirts, or Dresses worn with Pumps. However for Casual Friday, they each styled Blue Jeans in their own way. Other looks from other bloggers include everything from a Gorgeous Magenta Lace Dress that cost just 10 bucks, and was styled by Mother-Daughter team of Heather & Kayla, to a Chevron Sheath worn with a Blazer & Statement Necklace at a Wedding, Leather Ballet Flats shown both with Pants & a Skirt in 2 Colorful Outfits, Oxblood Pants styled with Black Wedges, a Spring-Forward Gray & Yellow Outfit styled better with a Gorgeous Sparkly Stone Necklace, a Classic & Chic Wrap-Style LBD and even Cropped Jeans worn with a Colorful Sequined Sweatshirt. Some common things in these remixes were Long Cardigans especially in Light Heather Gray, many Cognac Belts, many Beautiful Statement Necklaces including a couple of the Bloggers' Favorite Bubble Necklace, a couple of Olive Green Military Jackets as well as some Oxblood Pants. So without further ado...

The Best Looks from this Week's 5 Days, 5 Ways Challenge are:
(from Top to Bottom, Left to Right).

Whitney's 1st Outfit  was from her Accessories remix where she chose a Chic & Feminine, Cognac, Bow Belt that looked Divine over her Girly Skye Blue, A-Line Dress with a Skye Blue Necklace, Heather Gray Cardigan & Adorable Blue+White Gingham Pumps that I loved.
Whitney's 2nd Outfit was from her Pants remix where she chose a pair of Cool, Oxblood Polka Dot Pants. I loved them paired with the Cognac Blazer & Belt with a Blush Tee underneath & once again a Pretty, Statement Necklace.
Whitney's 3rd Outfit was from her Dresses remix where she chose one of her favorite Dresses featuring a Cool Key Print & here I loved it paired with the Purple Pumps & Matching Necklace. Accompanied by a Cognac Belt & Gorgeous Blue+White Stripped Clutch, as far as Accessories.
Whitney's 4th Outfit  was from her Tops remix where she chose a Bright, Emerald Tee that I loved accessorized with those Aqua Pumps & another Bow Belt - this time Black - while the Pretty Water-Color Bucket Skirt locked in all the colors together.
Franziska's 1st Outfit  was from her Casual Friday where she chose a Pair of Dark Jeans to pair with a Smart & Elegant Plaid Blazer over a Stripped Tee, belted with a Cognac Belt. Here she looks like an Intelligent PhD Student.
Franziska's 2nd Outfit   was from her Accessories remix where she chose a Pretty & Goes-with-Everything Black & White Print Scarf that I loved worn over the Orange Button-Down & Blue Jeans, with that Awesome Anchor Belt.
Franziska's 3rd Outfit  was from her Tops remix where she chose a Versatile Piece - a Black Cardigan - which this time she paired with Hunter Green Cropped Pants with Matching Skinny Belt, a Leopard Blouse, Classic, Black, Tory Burch Flats & Bright Orange Nails.
Franziska's 4th Outfit  was from her Pants remix where she chose these Gorgeous, Pastel, Cropped Floral Skinnies. My favorite way she wore them is with the Bright T-Shirt & Olive Green Jacket over, as well as a Multi-Colored Necklace that pops & Neutral Loafers.

Ginny wore one of her Favorite Necklaces featuring Neon Yellow Stones with a Pastel Ensemble of a Watercolor Yellow/Gray Top, Ivory Skirt & Heather Gray Cardigan. She Looked like a Tall Glass of Fresh Lemonade.
Ashley chose her Favorite Wrap Dress which is a Classic for a Dress Remix. My favorite way was paired with the Bold, Mega-Popular, Bubble Necklace in Coral & Little Black Sandals.
Bri Marie chose her Cute & Loved-by-her Leopard Flats for her Remixing Accessory. In the First Outfit she remixed it with a White Ruffled Tank, a Coral Pink Mini Skirt & a Heather Gray Cardi. For the Second Outfit she chose Skinny Blue Jeans, a Multi-Stripped Pink/Coral/Beige Sweater & an Olive Blazer. (Love that Pose, too.)
Inge's 1st Outfit is of her Gray Chevron Sleeveless Shift Dress. I loved it the way she wore it here with the Black Blazer, Black Wedge Pumps & Beautiful Turquoise Necklace.
Kim's 1st Outfit was remixing the Red Skinnies which she wore in a Hip way over a Blue/Red/White Dress in a Small Floral. Loved her Adorable Floral Headband & all the Cognac Accessories.
Kim's 2nd Outfit  was the Black+White Stripped Sweater remix done with a Gorgeous Floral Pencil Skirt, Black Tights, Black Booties & a Stunning Turquoise Necklace.
Heather remixed this Hot Pink Lace Dress featuring a Lovely Bow Detail on the Shoulders, with a Wide Nude Belt & Matching Nude Pumps looking so Chic & ready for a Cocktail Party.
Kayla remixed the same Hot Pink Lace Dress with Black everything: Blazer, Ballet Flats & Bubble Necklace, which would make this outfit proper for work.
Kate remixed her Camo Pants with a Black Tank Top, Blue Jean Jacket & Black Pumps - all Basic items but all of them together made into one Cool Outfit. She added a Locket Necklace.
Carylee's Blog is New to me but I loved her ensemble of Cuffed Jeans for Casual Friday. She paired hers with a Chambray Polka Dot Button Down underneath a Bold Purple Sequined Tee. She also wore Purple Stiletto Booties to match. Sassy & Classy, too.
Inge's 2nd Outfit also featured the same Black Blazer & Black Wedges, while showcasing her Beautiful Oxblood Capri Pants, worn with a White Lace Top & Beautiful Triangle Necklace.

Stay Tuned for other Week's Best Looks for the week ending March 31st 2013. Thank You All.

    2. You totally reminded me of Fran Drescher, because sometimes between her first name and last name I would confuse her name with my tongue for Dran.

Anyways, I am happy you liked this little surprise. This was one of My Most Favorite Posts because it was also a Favorite Challenge. I have only done a couple of challenges so far but I truly loved this, because it reminded me to remix my closet, more. =)

  3. I had so much fun with this challenge! I really enjoyed seeing everyone's remixes. Thanks for including me, looks like I should have just done a blazer/wedges remix, because I totally could!
You've also really inspired me to wear my headbands more, I'm probably going to wear one today with my Easter outfit!

    1. You are welcome Inge. Your new Black Wedges from Payless are Awesome and a Black Blazer is always a Classy, Classic, Elegant piece that remixes well into so many things. Actually I almost included your look of the Floral Skirt with the Khaki Blazer and Beige Flats - the one you didn't care for so much. You should totally wear your Wedges & other shoes that you purchased this month cause all of them are FAB FINDS!!

I am glad you will be wearing more headbands too and that I inspired you to wear them more. They look cute over your curly hair. =)

Looking Forward to seeing your Easter outfit, too.
