Three Dresses - Four Ways.

For today's challenge we have dresses. I chose not one but 3 dresses to showcase today. They are all very different but they have proven quite versatile. I love them all, especially the Sweater Dress with the Lace Palettes on each sleeve, going down.

The Colorblock Dress featuring three colors: Teal, Emerald Green & Brown has been in my closet since Summer 2006 and it is from Forever 21. It was one of the purchases where I asked myself "Should I buy it? How versatile will it be?" Now I am glad I bought it, because I can even make it work for other seasons behind Summer, as I have shown with one of the looks. The Olive-Green, 3/4-Sleeve Sweater Dress with the Lace detail was added to my closet in Fall of 2011 and was purchased on clearance from Ann Taylor Loft. It is a size Small but it is slightly big on me, however I like the more lose fit and it worked well while I was pregnant. And the Silk Shantung Sleeveless Sheath with the Paint-Like Flower Print, is also from Ann Taylor Loft, purchased also on Clearance from Spring 2011. Despite its Bright Colors in the Print, the main color of the dress is a Neutral so it has proven to go with a lot. I also really like the nice thick silk and the shape of the dress, very Classic and flattering on so many bodies.

I must say this is my Favorite Remix of this challenge since I love Dresses & own a lot of dresses, actually. Though I have a good one for you tomorrow too - featuring a Favorite Item of clothing - so stay tuned for that as well. =) Thank You.

Here are all 3 Dresses side by side:
Which one is your Favorite Dress? What about your Favorite Way I have worn/styled each dress?

1st Look of the Teal/Brown Dress. I added another color - Periwinkle - with the layered Camisole underneath. I remember it being a Hot Summer Day and I was pregnant so no makeup and very light on jewelry, just bracelets & I added a headband. This outfit could have used a short necklace.
Brown, Green & Teal, Flowing, Wrap-Style, Cotton Dress: Forever 21.
Periwinkle, Stretchy, Nylon Tank Top: White House Black Market.
Skinny, Bronze Bangle: London Boutique.
Patent Leather Black Skinny Headband w/ Ivory Bow: The Limited.
Navy, Green, Teal, Turquoise & Seafoam, Leaf-Print, Silk, Strappy Thong Sandals: Simple Shoes.

2nd Look of the Teal/Brown Dress. This is the first time I wore this dress (a few summers ago) when I purchased it. I guess I was being daring since I am not wearing a Camisole underneath and this dress is boobylicious. I paired it with Peach accessories and really loved this look at the time.
Brown, Green & Teal, Flowing, Wrap-Style, Cotton Dress: Forever 21.
Stretchy, Silk, Wide, Light Peach Headband: NY & Co. (New York & Company).
Beaded, Peach, Coral & Gold, Dangly Earrings: The Limited.
Stretchy, Chain, Silver Bracelet: Express.
Beige & Peach, Stripped, Canvas Espadrille Wedges: Payless.

3rd Look of the Teal/Brown Dress. I styled this dress for a Blogger's Birthday E-Party. This was just days before My Daughter's Birth. Comfy layers were necessary for my sake and for the weather's sake, too. I doubled the Brown by adding Brown Tights and I doubled the Teal by adding a Teal Cardigan. I added another color too - Black (Camisole & Boots). I think considering that I was 9 months or 37 and a half weeks pregnant, I like how this outfit came about.
Brown, Green & Teal, Flowing, Wrap-Style, Cotton Dress: Forever 21.
Black, Stretchy, Nylon Camisole: The Limited.
Teal, Long-Sleeve, Light Cotton Cardigan w/ Pockets & Zipper Detail on the Shoulders: Gruppo Fiori.
Teal, Turquoise & Brown Beaded Necklace w/ Cameo Pendant: Forever 21.
Dark Brown, Soft Knit, Sweater Tights: Golden Point.
Black, Leather Boots: Impo.

4th Look of the Teal/Brown Dress. This is probably my Most Favorite Look of the all four. I like the complimentary Teal Camisole underneath & the tiny peek of Lace. I also like my Statement Necklace with this dress. And I am wearing one of My Most Favorite pairs of Shoes. In retrospect, I should have added my Blue Pearl Stud Earrings, though.

Brown, Green & Teal, Flowing, Wrap-Style, Cotton Dress: Forever 21.
Lace-Trimmed, Green/Teal, Stretchy Nylon Tank: The Limited.
Turquoise, Baby Pink & Clear, Glass-Beaded Necklace and Matching Stretchy Bracelet: Beadz & Bagz.
Beige, Peep-Toe Wedges w/ Different Colorful Dots: Il Cammino.

1st Look of the Olive Green Sweater Dress. This was during a cold January day for work and I added a Wide Belt to emphasize the waist. I am also wearing little ball studs in the same shade as the dress. Perhaps I would add a necklace if I wore this same outfit today, a long Silver Chain Necklace would have made it better.
Light Olive-Green Sweater Dress, with 3/4-Sleeves & Lace Palettes on the Sleeves: Ann Taylor LOFT.
Black, Stretchy & Patent Leather, Wide Belt w/ Square Buckle: White House Black Market.
Olive Green/Grayish, Plastic-Bead, Stud Earrings: Piazza Italia.
Stretchy, Silver, Oval-Link Bracelet: The Limited.
 Thick, Opaque, Navy Tights: Pompea.

2nd Look of the Olive Green Sweater Dress. This time I wore this dress to a Sunday Lunch Date with my husband plus another couple. It was Early Fall and there was a little chill in the air that day. My Pashmina served both to warm me up, as well as to layer the dress for some extra interest. The Metallic Bracelets pick up the colors of the Pashmina Scarf, too.

Light Olive-Green Sweater Dress, with 3/4-Sleeves & Lace Palettes on the Sleeves: Ann Taylor LOFT.
Burnt Orange, Gold & Brown, Paisly Print, Indian Pashmina Shawl w/ Fringe: Gifted to Me from a Friend.
Braided, Gold, Bronze, Silver & Pewter Bracelets: Parfois (New).
Dark Brown, Soft Knit, Sweater Tights: Golden Point.
Brown, Soft Leather, Slouchy Boots: Diba.
3rd Look of the Olive Green Sweater Dress. This was my first time ever wearing this Sweater Dress - which eventually became a Favorite of mine. As a matter of fact I have worn it once or twice more that is not documented into outfit photos. This time I wore the dress for a Birthday Dinner Party for some Relatives of my husband. The Earrings & Bracelet (both of which I love) though from different stores, have Matching Stones in Earth Colors and both have Geometric Stones. I like that I chose Leopard Tights.
Light Olive-Green Sweater Dress, with 3/4-Sleeves & Lace Palettes on the Sleeves: Ann Taylor LOFT.
Silver Bracelet (Left Hand): Lord & Taylor.
Wedding & Engagement Rings (Left Hand): My Husband's.
Black, Olive Green and Gray, Multi-Stoned, Big Mosaic, Stretchy Bracelet (Right Hand): A Christmas Gift from a Friend.
Silver, Circle, White Stone, Cubic Zircon Ring (Right Hand, Middle Finger): JC Penneys.
Silver, Iridescent, Cubic Zircon, Big Oval-Stoned Ring (Right Hand, 4th Finger): Lord & Taylor.
Drop Earrings w/ Circle, Square & Triangle Sparkly Stones in Black, Olive Green & Brown Colors: White House Black Market.
Black on Black Leopard Print Tights: Betsey Johnson.
Black Suede Booties: Worthington (JC Penneys.)
4th Look of the Olive Green Sweater Dress. I doubled my Leopard with this look, by wearing a Silk Scarf in a Modern Leopard Print & Ballet Flats in Classic Leopard Print. My Scarf served as a Necklace that day. Tights were necessary since it was Mid Fall and quite chilly. Ohh and I was pregnant here too, if you could tell. That's so awesome about this dress - it is loose enough for a round, expecting belly.

Light Olive-Green Sweater Dress, with 3/4-Sleeves & Lace Palettes on the Sleeves: Ann Taylor LOFT.
Lilac, Gray & Black, Leopard-Print, Wide, Silk Scarf: The Limited.
Silver Chain Necklace w/ Small, Black, Semi-Precious Stone: Fred's Jewelry.
Silver, Flower-Stud Earrings w/ Little Pearls in the Middle: Parfois.
Dark Gray, Soft Knit, Sweater Tights: Golden Point.
Leopard & Black, Calfskin & Patent Leather, Cap-Toed Ballet Flats: White House Black Market.

1st Look of the Silk, Floral Dress. This is very simple. I brought out the colors of the dress with the Hot Pink Skinny Belt, & Turquoise Blue Poppy Flower Earrings. And the Silver Sandals matched with the Gray Color of the Dress. I like this look. This was also during the end of my first trimester so it was out hot and I wanted to be comfortable.

Silk Shantung, Gray Dress w/ a Pink, Sky Blue, Beige & Violet Floral Print: Ann Taylor LOFT.
Silver Bangle: White House Black Market.
Oval-linked, Stretchy, Silver Bracelet: The Limited.
Flower-Shaped, Turquoise, Stud Earrings: Parfois.
Purple-Magenta, Patent Leather, Skinny Belt: Koton.
Dark Silver, Thong-Wedge, Beaded Sandals w/ Black, Gray & Silver Beads: Nine West.

2nd Look of the Silk, Floral Dress. I wore this to a TV Appearance on a Late Afternoon Live Talk Show, which was work-related. This was Early Fall and my round belly started showing more but between my straight locks, pretty & simple makeup and the addition of a Cardigan which complimented the dress, I felt really put-together. And I wore Silver Flower Studs with a tiny pearl in the middle.

Silk Shantung, Gray Dress w/ a Pink, Sky Blue, Beige & Violet Floral Print: Ann Taylor LOFT.
Teal Green, Elbow-Sleeve, Ruched Cardigan: The Limited.
Square-Shaped, Lime-Green Stud Earrings w/ Tiny Patterned Multi-Square Stones: Express.
Purple-Magenta, Patent Leather, Skinny Belt: Koton.
Beige, Peep-Toe Wedges w/ Different Colorful Dots: Il Cammino.

3rd Look of the Silk, Floral Dress. This is the simplest way I have worn this dress. I added lots of bracelets as you can see. I should have probably added a long necklace too, like my Sky Blue Beads or one of My Long Glass Necklaces.

Silk Shantung, Gray Dress w/ a Pink, Sky Blue, Beige & Violet Floral Print: Ann Taylor LOFT.
Gold-Toned, Skinny Bangles + Rhinestone Bangle (Right Hand): The Limited, Express & London Boutique.
Silver and Glass, Blue Beaded "Faux Pandora" Bracelet (Left Hand): JC Penney.
Multi-Colored, Sparkly Stud Earrings in Colors such as Bright Cobalt, Emerald, Fuchsia, Yellow & Black: Fred's Jewelry.
Black & Silver-Studded Hair Clasp: Bijoux & Accessories.
Baby Pink, "Eyelet" Open-Dot, Ballet Flats w/ Skinny Bows: DSW.

    1. I love the Floral one as well. Those same flowers are also placed on the opposite side, on the back, at the bottom. Complete opposite with the front. =)
