Flashback Friday: Plaid and Blue Times Two.

Happy Friday Folks!! It continues to be bad weather around here. It has been rainy since last Saturday. Then all this week the temperatures dropped quite a bit, too. This cold weather is not good for the baby and of course I haven't been able to take her out in her stroller, for some air. Babies need sunshine. That's what makes them happy. Anyway, we have a dinner tonight, to celebrate my Husband's Aunt's 60th Birthday so we will be taking her with us. Hopefully she is a good girl. She will have her mom with her. She has started to get fussy around evening time so we will see. It will be an occasion for me to dress up a little and of course I will dress her up in a pretty dress, too. =) Having a little girl is so much fun. It is still real early as she is still sooo young but I cannot wait to be able to dress her up, especially during these first 2-3 years of her life.

Anyway, it is Flashback Friday once again. This week I am bringing you two different looks, first from 2009 and then from 2010. They have something in common: Blue Plaid. I am wearing two different Blue Plaid Shirts, both of them are from Express. On the first look, it is a Tunic in 2 different shades of Blue. I wore it with leggings & Blue Denim Pumps, for a walk down-town Toronto during their Film Festival back in September of 2009. The other shirt is slightly dressier and it has both Blues & Greens in it, in a Wrap style. I paired it with a Classic Pencil Skirt & Kitten Heel Slingback Pumps. This was worn to an Evening Date with my loving husband. So, without further ado:

Blue-on-Blue, Plaid, Button-Down Tunic w/ Ruched Front & Built-In Sash: Express.
Cropped, Black Leggings: Express.
Ruched, Pleather, Black Purse: Express.
Asymmetric, Pointy-Toe, Denim Pumps w/ Kitten Heels: Payless.
(Wow I am wearing lots of Express here.)
When: September 2009.
Where: In Front of My Hotel, Down-Town Toronto, Ontario, CANADA.

Blue & Green, Wrap-Style, Cap-Sleeve, Plaid Shirt: Express.
Black Pencil Skirt w/ Asymmetric Ruching off the Front: Bebe.
Coral/Silver Flower Stud Earrings: Forever 21.
Brown, Leather, Peep-Toe Sling-Backs with Buckle Detail: Nine West.
When: May 2010.
Where: An Evening Dinner & Movies Date, with My Husband (in Michigan).

    1. I love the second top, too. We had a great time at the dinner and Vivian was actually really good for the most part and of course everyone stopped by to see her, hold her, kiss her, etc.
