5 Things and 1 Outfit.

Happy Wednesday Guys. The weather was real pretty around here, full of warmth and sunshine - FINALLY!! Vivian and I took a walk with her stroller for about a couple of hours. I even did a little bit of shopping and got a couple or organizers & containers for our home. =) Before I move on to Today's Outfit, I was tagged "5 Things" (which I was secretly hoping someone would tag me since I love writing random facts) by the Two Lovely Ladies Heather & Kayla. If you haven't checked out their blog yet, run do not walk towards it. They are real inside out, including their style. They always put together great outfits from your everyday mall stores as well as some thrifted pieces, looking Great. =)

My 5 Things:

1. I speak, write, understand and read fluently 4 languages - English, Albanian, Italian & Spanish. Spanish is the only one I cannot really write but I can definitely read it - I have learned most of my Spanish & Italian through TV. I also undestand a little bit of Greek.
2. I have dual citizenship: Albanian & American, which means I can also vote in both countries. Vivian will eventually get her American Citizenship, also.
3. I (now) own about 150 dresses. I gave away about 80 dresses (donated, or gave to friends/cousins) when I did a major cleaning of my closet, before I left the States, in November 2011. A lot of them are fancy dresses, silk or cocktail dresses. My Favorite Styles are Strapless, or with spaghetti straps. My Favorite Kinds are a LBD (Little Black Dress), LWD (Little White Dress) or LRD (Little Red Dress) - I think every woman needs/should own one of each of these three.
4. I have learned to live/manage from a large 3500 square feet house, to a small 750 square feet apartment. I think most people in US take space for granted, unless living in Manhattan for example. In Europe, especially in big, Metropolitan cities people live in (own or rent) apartments like I do.
5. Currently, my Favorite TV Shows (in this order specifically) are Dexter, Pretty Little Liars & Revenge. While my Favorite Guilty Pleasure/Reality TV Show is The Bachelor and/or The Bachelorette - which is a cheesy show (that I know), but I love it nevertheless and have been watching since when it first started like 12 years ago.

Now, in this outfit I am mixing Black & White - typical. But I am also mixing Houndstooth with Floral. I am glad I am wearing two new pieces I purchased back in January (my leggings & my cardigan). I am glad I am not neglecting them, since I tend to neglect new purchases as much as "I have to have them" when I buy them. Glad to report that so far I have worn all 4 pairs of my leggings back from My January Purchases. As a matter of fact the Paisley pair and the Polka Dot pair have gotten several wears. =)

Black+White, Small Floral Print, Scoop-neck Tank: Merona (Target).
White, Cotton, Long Cardigan w/ attached Flower Pin: Terra Nova.
Black+White, Houndstooth Leggings: Terra Nova.
Delicate, Gold-Chain Necklace w/ Small Heart-Shaped Pink Topaz Stone: Lord & Taylor.
Black, Suede Oxford Shoes: Forever 21.

P.S. Linking up on this Fabulous Wednesday, with Alison, Melaina and Shanna.

    1. Hahaa, yes I am very fluent in 3 languages, working more on my Spanish and I actually gave away 80 dresses and currently own about 150 and I haven't actually purchased a dress in a long while, so I plan on adding to my dress collection this Summer.

    1. I CAN TEACH YOU SOME OF MY NATIVE ALBANIAN - I Mean it. Our language has one good thing that doesn't make it as heard, we write & pronounce every single letter and the same letter is pronounced the same way, always - no exceptions.

As far as the dresses, well that includes Sweater Dresses, too.

  5. Wow! That's really awesome about all the languages. I only know English with a smattering (random bits) of other languages. I took a Latin class for a couple of years, which makes many languages sound familiar or understandable, even if I can't communicate back.

    1. Thanks Megan. Latin is the root and base of so many languages. I wish it would continue to be taught & spoken.

  8. You look fabo - and so tiny!

My oldest lives in NYC so I understand the living space limitations, but actually, I'd love to down-size from 1500 sq ft to 750 sq ft. That's the plan when the kiddos are out of college.
