Textures, Prints, Layers, Put Together!!
Hello all. How was your Friday? I have gotten a lot done in the last 3 days (including today). On Wednesday I did a lot of organizing, took off all the Christmas Decorations (finally), washed all the dishes, watched a couple of movies and later relaxed. Yesterday I had the cleaning lady over and she did a detailed cleaning to our apartment. I had done all the dusting myself but she swept, mopped, washed the windows and even help me clean the bathroom. At almost 38 weeks pregnant, bending down and being too active has become difficult. I do not want to stretch myself too much out of my limits. Plus Baby Girl is moving a lot (awwww) and I need to give her room to move and breathe. Today I did some laundry in the morning, washed the curtains (husband will hang them tomorrow) and last but not least I washed all the Newborn and 0-3 months Baby's Clothes. Ohh and I also cooked yesterday and today. I made lentil soup two days in a row (don't judge), but it came out so darn good, I need to share the recipe with you. I was told to eat a lot of lentils & beans lately, they help with my iron and calcium and help the baby gain weight so that I did. =) Husband loves lentils so he enjoyed dinner last night, he said it tasted Delish. Today I only had some lentils leftover so I cooked enough just for myself. See, I told you it has been a good, productive 3 days, actually a pretty productive week. =)
My mom did all the Maternity Shopping for me this year. She shopped at Target & Kohl's and pretty much got everything from those two stores. Though you haven't seen this sweater on the Blog before, I have worn it at least 3-4 times. It is not Maternity but it sure feels like it. I love the Subtle Dove Gray and the Light Colors. It has a slight Hi-Low hem as it is a little longer on the back. I layered a little Lime Green Comfy Tank underneath. I brought in another Green Color in the outfit by adding the Military Blazer. I also added another Gray or two between the Rose-Print darker Scarf & the Cozy, Scrunchy Boots - love them!!
