Pregnancy Photos - Part One.
Here is the first part of our Photo-Shoot. In all, over 350 photos were taken in 3 different locations (including some inside). It was chilly that day, but not as cold as it was the next day or two. There was also a lot of walking that day. I walked a lot by the park, the forest, and later into the city. We walked upward and downward, so for a 9-month pregnant lady that was a lot of physical activity. I was telling my husband that was my (big) workout for the day. Plus some photos I was sitting, a bunch I was standing. And you know bending and sitting is challenging when you are 36 weeks pregnant. I was at a full 36 weeks when the photos were taken. They were taken on Sunday January 6th 2013.
Our amazing young photographer (she is only 24 but already very talented) suggested Pastel/Lighter Colors for us, especially for me, since I am brunette. I kept my black Pants the same but switched tops twice. These Pink Tops are not very Pastel but not too Bright either, so they worked. Plus I kind of had to wear Pink in Honor of Our Baby Girl. My husband wore a Taupe Sweater over a Pinstripped Button-Down with stripes in colors like Lavender, Baby Pink & Baby Blue. Even-though we haven't gotten all the photos and most of these (you will see today) are in the untouched, non-Photoshopped version, we were very happy with the shoot. So without further ado, here are the photos. This post is loaded with photos but I had to share a bunch. Enjoy!!

I think the colors you both chose are perfect and they pictures look so full of joy :)
ReplyDeleteI think there is something magical about the sepia ones and you look very good, who'd think you are almost due !
It's a beautiful way to capture the moment.
Here this type of photo shoot also includes one shot of the mom sideways in a crisp white button down shirt, the last 3 buttons of the shirt are left undone and the baby bump is showing.
I agree we chose good colors plus the sweater kept me warm enough (at least for the first part of the photo-shoot, because I switched into lighter tops, after). Thank you so much Lorena. Had it been warm and summery out I might have done the white shirt leaving undone the last few buttons. We are happy with the results, though.
DeleteStay Tuned for part two. I like those photos even BETTER!
These turned out wonderful! I really like the colors you chose and the sepia and b&w photos. What a wonderful way to capture the memory of your pregnancy :) Heather
ReplyDeleteThank You it is a wonderful way to capture some wonderful memories. I am so happy with the results. I promise you part two is going to be even better!

DeleteShume Faleminderit. Te Perqafoj.
Oh Ada, these are amaaaazing! I love each and every one! There is so much love between you two (three, actually!) and it shines through in every picture. I really like the pink striped shirt in the last pictures...it shows off your sweet baby bump so well. I think my very favorite, if I had to choose, would be the one with you and your hubby standing side by side, holding hands and he's kissing your hand. So beautiful! Your photographer did such a great job!
ReplyDeleteYour Pregnancy Photos were amazing too. Loved them. Loved your gown.
DeleteI am so happy we have these memories. I will treasure them forever. The photographer did a good job I agree. =)
I do like the photo you chose as your fave. I also love the ones of our hands, reaching inside the heart (surrounded by leaves) where our daughter's little boots are inside. =)
Very cool! You'll treasure this forever! I love the one where it looks like your husband is telling you a secret :)

Thanks a lot Jess. I didn't have many Pastel Colored Tops (that fit) to choose from. Even so I had to wear Pink or something like it.
