Pretty in Red and Black.
Good Morning on this Monday. Is it another week starting or what? It was so cold this morning, there was frost on the ground. Both yesterday and today I have been wanting to wear a dress to work. The dress in itself is thin though I was going to wear thick tights & a turtlenck underneath it. But both days I haven't felt like a dress once I have seen the miserable weather. Yesterday morning was also raining hard when I went to work. I had to wear both a scarf & a beanie these last couple of days, I could have used gloves too. It is funny how the weather changed so fast & the temps dropped because just two weeks ago we were having a very mild Autumn and now it is Winter (for sure) all of a sudden.
To make up for me not wearing a dress like I wanted to, I bring you a Dress Outfit today which I wore on Albania's Independence Day on November 28th. I am usually 10 days or so behind with outfits posts because I normally wear at least 6 outfits a week (since I work 6 days a week), sometimes as many as 11 or 12 outfits weekly, and I like to keep things real, so for the most part I post even my not-so-great outfits. Anyway, this particular day I wanted to look both Patriotic & Pretty in My Country's Colors: Red & Black. I even blogged a special post on that day where you saw a few colages of me wearing Red & Black, which is a combo I love and wear often.
In this outfit I am wearing a sweater dress which still fit over my belly, at the time, paired with my Pretty Red Cardigan and some Fancier (than normal) jewelry. I love all my jewelry here. I almost wore my Leather Red Loafers but opted for the Black ones at the end. And, I did my makeup, full face here (lipstick, mascara, eye shadow & eyeliner). I have gone with no makeup most of the time while pregnant so this is kind of a big deal. LOL I went photo-crazy that day and took a bunch of photos. In some of them, I am using my hands to imitate our Double-Headed Eagle which is located center in our flag (the Flag has a Red background with the Black Eagle right in the middle). I personally LOVE this outfit. What do you think? Let me know - I appreciate it.

I really like this look. You can never go wrong with a black and white combo with animal print thrown in! Red is such a great color on you too :) Heather
ReplyDeleteI like it a lot, too. =) Red and throw some leopard in it and that's great. =)
DeleteI agree with Heather, you are radiant in red! Great look, head to toe. Stay warm and thank you for sharing the joy with Visible Monday.
ReplyDeleteThanks Patti. Always a pleasure.

DeleteThanks for such sweet comments on my blog! I love this look on you, and think that the leopard print scarf was such a great addition to it! Leopard print and red is one of my favorite combinations.
