Pretty and Comfy New Sweater.

I wanted to write a little longer today and share some thoughts with you on outfits, clothing & style. But once again I am kind of running late in preparing this post so I will keep it short. How has your Tuesday been anyway? You got anything accomplished today? I got the dishes clean, I put up the tree but haven't decorated it yet (my husband actually opened it/put it up) & I got some laundry done. Otherwise I spent most day at work... not being very productive actually. LOL

This sweater is one of the comfortable sweaters my mom bought me at Target when she was looking for Maternity clothes for me. It is not maternity but it has a loose style and it is comfy but cute. I would have prefered it to have been longer in the front. Actually it has a hi-lo style (with the longer back). I like that there are threads of baby blue, lavender, baby pink, turquoise & green in the mix, so it is not just gray. I wore a camisole underneath it of course, and paired it with my Black Maternity Trousers. I thought the Baby Pink moccasins brought out some of the color from the sweater. While the hair clip & long necklace (which are both new, purchased in November), are both in a pretty Sky Blue shade, match perfectly and bring out the blues in the sweater. =)

Gray/Lavender/Baby Blue Hi-Lo Sweater: Merona (Target).
Wide-Legged, Comfortable, Ponte, Maternity Black Paints: Oh Baby by Motherhood.
Long, Plastic, Sky Blue, Beaded Necklace: Random Boutique in Tirana.
Sky Blue Hair Claw: Carefour.
Silver Ring w/ Long Oval-Shaped Orange Stone: Kohl's.
Soft, Dusty Pink, Suede Moccasin Shoes: Payless.

    1. Sweaters are like comfort food. I agree. Old Navy has been great the last couple of years right? =)

  2. Love the colors in your top. I woke up with my husband's cold this morning, so I haven't gotten much done. I need to be studying and working on a special project for this weekend, but I am happy to have gotten dressed today.

    1. Yes I do not do/wear a lot of pastel colors but this sweater is cute. I just wish it was longer. I do like the hi-lo style, I just prefer it was longer both in the front & in the back.

  5. Your mum did great with the pretty sweater, and remember it WILL hang longer in front in just a few short months. You are lucky to have so many pretty maternity options. Back in th' day, er, mid 80s, I think I had to swear the same top and jeans every day for the entire last month because I refused to spend money on clothes I was only going to wear for a skinny minute anyways :)

    1. Yes, the sweater will fit better after pregnancy and it is a loose style, it is a size Small which is usually what I wear so perfect for after pregnancy, especially the first few months, right after. It is a pretty cozy sweater and I think it will look great with a long, bright-colored button-down top underneath it. =)
