Cozy Fall Colors on Christmas Time.
Merry Christmas Girls and Girlfriends!! It is Christmas Eve! WOW the year flew by, for sure. Are you ready to tackle a New Year? What are your plans/celebrations during this last week of December? Any traditions, gifts, interesting things you do on Christams Eve, Christmas Day or New Year's Eve?
So as I was saying this year went by FAAAAAAAST. Though at times - for me - it felt like it didn't. Summer felt way too long (which it was 5+ months), and it was real hot so being pregnant it felt even longer & humid & miserable. Anyway, some of you took the day or days (today & tomorrow off) to spend time with your families, cook, eat, relax and be away from the internet world altogether. Well, it is regular business here in my blog as it is here in Albania because December 24th is just another day here. Yes, it is Christmas Eve but unfortunately not a day this country celebrates. However between all the decor in the city, the lights, garlands, wreaths, crazy shopping, gift-wrapping, Christmas music playing, busy crowds of people everywhere especially in stores and tons of people at the mall today, you can tell this is a Holiday Week and it is the day before Christmas. As much as December can be so rushed & hectic, I love it. It is one of my 3 most favorite months of the year. (May and October are my other favorites in case you were wondering. =P)
I wish today's photos were taken in my pretty-decorated home rather than in the office but since I take my own photos (just placing the camera wherever it stands, no tripoid), I settle for wherever I can take the photos for that particular day. I could have posted a different outfit for Today's Post (with photos taken by my tree), but I wanted to be in the Christmas Spirit and this outfit is dressy yet casual enough, colorful and sort of Christmasy since it features a Beautiful, Burgundy Velvet Blazer. =) I love this blazer. For the last 5-6 years or so White House Black Market has had a version of this blazer in this color or a very similar shade of it. This is from the 2011 season but it is beautiful and sort of Unique since it is dressy but sassy too, with the Military detail. I swear I could buy every single blazer from White House Black Market. They have gorgeous blazers with intricate details. But they usually start at $98 and can go as high as $228. But of course I have purchased all mine for less than the original price(s). I had fun Christmasfying (yes I did make up that verb) my photos today though.
Wishing you all a Merry, Bright & Beautiful Christmas Eve & Christmas Day!! To all of you featured in yesterday's post for "Week's Best Looks of Dec 23rd 2012" consider it my little Christmas present to you. =)) But in all seriousness I love each and every one of those Holiday Outfits.
