My Baby Story: 28 Weeks plus an Outfit.

Time sure flies when you are over your second trimester and into your third. A lot of people say that your third trimester, especially the last ninth month of your pregnancy seems the longest, but if November is any indication (1/3rd of it is gone, really?!) then I have a feeling that before I know it my baby girl will be in my arms, and I will be nursing and nesting her. And that is the moment I have looked forward to THE MOST not just these last 28 weeks I have been pregnant, but pretty much since the last 5 years of my life.

I hope my baby girl is healthy, strong, beautiful and kicking from the very moment she comes out, when they cut her umbilical cord and she cries out loud. When they will place her into my arms for the very first time and as we will smell each-other for the first time, I am sure happy tears will stroll down my eyes.

How Far Along: 28 weeks.
Total Weight Gain: 12 to 12.5  lbs. Good, because not gaining much weight during the 4th & 5th month worried me there, for a while.
Maternity Clothes? Yes. I can still wear a bunch of my clothes though, such as some leggings, sweater dresses, anything empire-waisted and certain tops/blouses/tees.
Best moment this week: Her kicks. I live for those kicks, from the softest ones to the hardest ones. She is more active during night time. =)
Miss Anything? Not having to wake up at night, to pee, once again (same as last week). I also miss sleeping regularly. It's so easy for me to stay awake (after peeing) and it's also easy to loose sleep over night. =(
Movement: Yes, DAILY. Or should I say NIGHTLY?! =D
Food Cravings: All foods sound good lately, but I have had a sweet tooth this last week and even consumed some desserts.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Not really. I am getting more used to all kinds of smells.
Gender: A Beautiful Baby Girl!!
Labor Signs: No. Period.
Belly button in or out? In, but it is changing a little I must say.
Wedding rings on or off? On & loose. I keep my engagement ring on my middle finger most of the time and my wedding band on my engagement finger.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy about the baby, moody about work and also when I start worrying.
Looking forward to: The next ultra-sound which should be within the next 10 days.

Now moving on to the outfit. I am wearing  a very simple outfit featuring gray leggings and a light cardigan and tee combo in baby pink/lavender. The cardigan is actually a Baby Pink though it looks more lilac-y here. And I love the little chiffon pleated detail on the tee. Sorry about being like I was under the weather but my hair was having a frizzy day and plus I am not wearing any makeup.

Baby Pink, Chiffon-Trimmed Cardigan w/ Pearls & a Floral Vine Off the Collar: Gruppo Fiori.
Short-Sleeve, Dusty Lavender Tee w/ Chiffon Pleating by the Neckline: The Limited.
Charcoal Gray, Elastic Synthetic Leggings w/ Zippers off the Side: Express.
Big, Circle, Orange Stud Earrings: Express.
Magenta & Black, Python-Print, Skinny Headband: Express.
Black, Suede Oxford Shoes: Forever 21.

  1. I love reading your baby story. It's so amazing to have a human life grow inside you. The kicking was my favorite part and the heartburn was the worst, lol! Heather

    1. I love writing it every week, too. Thanks a lot Heather. I haven't had heartburn so far, but I still have two and a half more months to go. =)

  2. Yook beautiful as always! I can't wait to "meet" your baby girl. I'm sorry you aren't sleeping well...I definitely feel you on that one. You don't have too much longer now though..it will all be worth it!
