Muted Gray and Bold Orange Lace.
Hello. It is almost 9.30 PM and I am ending a super-long Saturday work-day as well as a long and tiresome week. I had extra office work to do today, due to the fact that I will be gone for an entire week. Besides my office work and extra e-mails I had to sent out, I also cleaned my desk. It is neat, organized, tidy and clean. I will be back to work on September 10th. We have plans to leave town for a few days and go to a nearby city by the sea. However, whether we will actually go to the beach will depend on the weather. I am also a little ill as I have gotten a little cold so this vacay is very necessary indeed. We will take our lap-top with us, but I am not sure how much time will I be online or whether I want to log online at all. This is a very much needed vacation for me, especially since I am pregnant. I have been working 6 days a week, 54-hour weeks for the past 8 months. I am exchausted.
Today's outfit is sort of fun and sassy. Perfect for a more laid-back, Work Weekend Outfit. The skirt is black lace over a fire orange material. I hunted down this skirt till it went on sale. I loved it but it was 70 bucks. I think I paid about 25 bucks for it, after the sale and coupon. The top has fun ruffly sleeves. I kept the color of the top more muted since I wanted the skirt to stand out. I did silver jewelry. The long circle necklace with matching earrings matches the fun big ball cocktail ring, as well as these black and silver Gladiator sandals. Of course hair had to be pulled up, cause it was way too hot to have it down.
And for now I am leaving you with this fun OOTD as well as a Happy Weekend Wish!! Since today is September 1st I also wish you a Fun, Cooler, Fall first-comer, Great Back-to-School September!!

DeleteOne of the most beautiful color combinations is orange and gray. I can't quite put my finger on it but the two shades play so well off each other that you don't even need accessories in an outfit. All I have to say is that I simply love this look.
ReplyDeleteFirst time (I think) I have tried Orange and Gray together but I do love it. I love Orange & Navy though. And today I am wearing Orange and Khaki/Beige and that is another great color combo. =)
DeleteLove that top! It looks so soft and comfy!
ReplyDeleteIt truly is very soft. =) Love it, too.
