Yellow, Black and White.

Hello All. I have had a good Thursday thus far except for a very weird, obnoxious, psychotic, foul-mouthed publisher that had nothing to do with his day bue insult, scold and yell at a young woman like myself, while I was completely being calm, cool and collected despite his nonsense and his foul language. This doesn't happen very often, but it has happened a couple of times around my job, however none worse than today. What a creep! Anyway, I am a positive, up-beat person in general so I don't even want to give him the time of the day any longer.

So, have you ever paired yellow with black and white before? I have done it a few times and seem to love the combo. Usually bright, bold, sunlight, crayola yellows are the ones that look best. You don't want your yellow to look close to your white. I own many shells and cute, girly tops and a lot of them are 100% silk. When I buy my silk, I make sure the majority of these items can be hand-washed or machine-washed. I rarely use a dry-cleaner and considering how many silk items I own, that's quite an accomplishment. Anyway, this is a beautiful yellow top that also looks golden, under the right lights. I love the color. I paired it with a Geometric Black & White Skirt. This seems to have been my favorite skirt this summer. I have worn it at least 5-6 times if I remember correctly. I love this little skirt I purchased last summer at WHBM. Unfortunately despite its elastic waist it is getting too tight for my growing belly bump. It is after all an XSmall which would be a size 0 or a 2. I kept in with the yellow accessories yet didn't wear yellow on my feet - even though I do own yellow sandals. I kept my feet neutral with these beauties from Nine West.

  1. That guy sounds like a total jerk! Glad you were able to keep your cool though :)

    1. He was a total jerk. Unfortunately I have to deal with him later today too, because he is supposed to get the payment for the books we sold (of his) and after today we won't have to see his face anymore. We found out he is a crook anyways and that those aren't even his publishments. What can you do.

I love this skirt too and have worn it many times during this summer. Love the print and the bucket style of it. =)

    1. Yes red shoes would be great but all red shoes I own are heels and right now walking on heels is a little dangerous, being 4+ months pregnant. Thanks though. =)
