Hot Pink Date Night.

Hi All, how is everything going? How has your weekend been so far? We had a quick and simple lunch at home (the two of us), watched the funny "The Whole Ten Yards" and now I am navigating Facebook, Blogger, posting this new post. I am also currently listening to Symphony 40 of Mozart. Listening to good Classical Music is awesome for the baby. Later on tonight, we will squeeze a simple drinks date with my husband, alcohol-free for me, of course. My husband doesn't drink much liquor either. Now as far as coffee goes... he drinks that drink like it is water, the heavy, real stuff too, Italian Espresso. LOL

Speaking of dates, in today's post, being the weekend and all, I am bringing you photos from a weekend summer date with my husband. It was a simple date which started with an early Fish Dinner at home, but I still wanted to look pretty and sweet. This sweetheart magenta dress with a bubble skirt, definitely makes me feel like a little girl. I added a pretty, glass-looking clear and purple/pink heart necklace, which features a painted rose inside and I was happy with the final result. My husband looked simple but dashing in his bright summer blue Polo.

First some photos from our dinner and date (we invited his mom over for dinner, this day, that's why you see three settings on the table LOL) and then the outfit.

The Food looks yummy doesn't it? I could go for some Fresh Baked Fish, tonight for dinner. Just squeeze some lemon to it, make a fresh salad and it's good to go. Of course dinner wasn't complete without yummy bread and sweet juice. This was a Pomegranate Juice we are drinking, here. I also realize, my dress matches our tablecloth and napkins. LOL
Cheering with Fruit Cocktails for our baby. At the time we had not shared the news with everyone. We were so very happy and still are happy and blessed. You can read the happiness in our eyes!!
Husband took a couple of good up-close photos of me chucking down that drink. I saved the best photo for last, as this last photo of the two of us is My Favorite of the day.

And now, on to the outfit. =)

Clear, Purple & Pink Crystal Necklace Featuring a Heart w/ a Rose Inside: Beadz & Bagz.

  4. Love the pink themed date! Everything down to your juice matches. The grilled fish sounds delicious. I wish we had a good place to get some grilled fish, everywhere likes to fry it (yuck!)

    1. Yes, I guess even the juice color matches. LOL It wasn't really Pink-Themed-Planned, it just happened to be that way.

Yes Baked or Grilled Fish is way healthier and in my opinion tastes better, too. Most places that sell fish, bake it for you if you like to have it cooked. Most of them don't even offer frying it as an option, some do. I guess, Europeans do things in a healthier way. =)

I am not much of a fish person but must agree your meal does look good.

    1. I love fish. I don't think I would want to eat it daily, but I would it at least a couple of weeks if I could. It's expensive though. I try to at least once a week or once every other week. I need even more fish now that I am pregnant, none of the raw shellfish, real, cooked well fish. =)
