Bold Color and Bold Print for Fashion Challenge: Day 1.
So yesterday I started a Challenge. This is a fun and colorful Summer Challenge that will reflect all the participants' personal style while they are wearing current summer trends. I might have even incorporated one or two new clothing items as I prepared for this challenge, all week. So stay tuned because I WILL POST DAILY of what I wore the previous day of the Challenge.
Keely of Casual Chic Kiki and Megan of Megan Mae Daily came up with fun and colorful challenges for each day. Today though (Tuesday's challenge) is my least favorite challenge as it is the easiest, choosing Flats over Paltforms. However, I loved Yesterday's Challenge and through this Roberto Cavalli dress that I chose to wear, I was able to bring both Bold Colors and Bold Prints. It is more of a Bold Print, however this Purple is also quite bright and noticeable and not for the shy fashion minds. I am not shy when it comes to fashion, hence this dress. I wanted to be comfortable so I chose simple loafer-style shoes that picked up the colors of the dress. It was Monday after all and Mondays are busy work-days for me.
I think I achieved what the Challenge was meant to achieve. I like this dress and its bold Kimono-style sleeves. I got compliments on it, all day. =) I hope you readers and stylish women that visit my blog will comment on it and compiment it as well.
I am also linking up this outfit on Patti's Page for her "Visible Mondays" series. I don't know about you but this is quite bold, bright & visible. =) Check out Patti and other ladies' style on this page.

Great bold print! I love the sleeves on the dress. Thank you for joining us for Fashion Challenge! I think the flats were a good choice.
ReplyDeleteSometimes trends are super easy, which makes them great for everyone. However some trends are more difficult to get everyone on board with and that's where the challenge comes in.
Thanks a Lot Megan. Your style is so fresh and unique, so you. I also love the print and sleeves on this dress. I will be checking up on you, as well and please do the same.
DeleteTake Care, Ada. =)
That challenge sounds fun. If I were not crazy busy I'd join.
ReplyDeleteI like that dress, it fits you so very nicely.
Yes, challenges are fun, though I think this particular challenge is quite easy. It ios right up my alley and I can totally do it!! I like the dress too, thanks.
