Black + White: Casual yet Classic (for Work).
So, on a rare occassion I wear jeans to work I want to dress them up and make them feel as work-appropriate as possible and I think I achieved that with this look. I love this look by the way, do you?! It is Black+White yet a little edgy with the long black, beaded necklace, the lace on the tee and the silver-studded, worn-looking black jeans. Speaking of Tees: I love cute little, girly T-Shirts. Ann Taylor Loft, Express & White House Black Market have several cute T-shirts, with fun, girly or interesting details (like the one I am wearing below).
The necklace I am wearing is one of my favorites I own. I actually own two almost identical ones. This one features 5-6 different-sized black jet glass beads that arrow both up and down and each black glass bead is divided by a tiny, little silver bead. It is long and can be worn 3 times around the neck and it is by White House Black Market. It has a matching bracelet and earrings but I rarely wear all three together, even-though they look good as a set, too. The other necklace (I purchased prior to this) has the same multi-faceted black jet glass beads but only in one size (like the big beads of the first necklace), with no other beads in between and it's also quite long. It is from The Limited. Both necklaces go with so many things. And by the way this is My Favorite Black Blazer. It is so sharp, modern, classy, chic. It could work for so many occassions: over a sheath, as a suit jacket, over a pretty blouse, with skirts, with pants or even with jeans (like I paired here). It can dress up a T-Shirt like it did mine. ;-)

ReplyDeleteWHBM has great jeans, I really reccomend them. I own a few pairs of their jeans but this must be my favorite from them. =) Also, this a super-cute girly tee, the stripes make it even better.
