The Best of the Best at the Primetime Emmy Awards 2011. =)
MY 15 TOP LOOKS AT THE PRIMETIME EMYS 2011.
A few days ago I presented you what I thought was THE BEST GOWN of the night for this year's Emmy Ceremony and that 'award' went to Nina Dobrev who looked stunning in a petal-skirted, sweetheart strapless red gown. Here are 15 more looks that I think deserve an honorable mention. Again these are my opinions so whether you agree with me or not, is fine. LOL

In a night filled with Gorgeous Red Gowns - the main color of the evening - Movie Actress Kerry Washington still stood out in this luscious, wet-look, column strapless gown with a full see-through skirt by Zuhair Murad which she paired with classic, sexy, red peep-toe Jimmy Choo shoes and a hot red clutch. I loved her simple hair with just a hint of a wave and her makeup was simple but very glam, especially the red lips and the eyelashes. She definitely did the head-to-toe red look, wonderfully.
Movie and TV Actress Evan Rachel Wood (recently playing a main character on "Mildred Pierce") looked more glamorous than ever before with her blonde hair which this time was short, but sassy and I loved it. Her black gown by famous designer Elie Saab had enough sparkle to remind one of a starry night. The gown was sexy yet demure, showing no cleavage yet enveloping her curves, beautifully. Gone are her goth days and super dark black hair, her 'Marilyn Manson Muse' days (thank Goodness).
Movie and TV Actress Claire Danes is beautiful and has a clean, simple look usually. Like usual I loved what she wore during these awards. Her Oscar De La Renta Blue Mosaic Gown looked like a beautiful and artsy painting with lots of sparkle. The style was very simple but the design and color stood out for sure.
Choreographer and "Dancing With the Stars" Sexy Judge Carrie Ann Inaba looked her usual sexy, fit and svelte self. I liked her beautiful, classy, black, sequined column gown. Her hair and makeup were simple and that beautiful, rich red, tiny clutch definitely stood out.
Actress Cobie Smulders from "How I Met Your Mother" had in my opinion the best color of the night. This rich and bright turquoise-seafomy creation by Alberta Feretti floated beautifully and felt fresh and light on the actress. I loved the gown's straps and the pleats. I loved Cobie's retro curls, long silver earrings, silver clutch and blue-stoned ring with it, too. The accessories were enough to stand out: not too much and not too little.
Nancy O'Dell as always is one of the best dressed women in any award ceremony. The "Entertainment Tonight" Host and TV Personality wore a pinkish-red, strapless mermaid gown which featured an interesting boned design from the thighs to the knees, making the dress even more flattering. Her hair and makeup looked gorgeous too, while her earrings and cocktail ring were exquisite.
Emily Blunt is stunning. The Movie Actress also wore popular Elie Saab. Her midnight blue gown had beautiful lace and a plunging V-Neck. She kept her hair and accessories simple. Her clutch, cocktail ring and bold bangle bracelet were beautiful.
Film and TV Actress Gretchen Mol wore popular American Designer L'Wren Scott. Her black gown was one of the most simple ones at this year's awards but she looked like Classic Hollywood in her retro curls, her red lips and the right accessories she chose with her gown.
Julianna Margulies wore a column mermaid-style white gown by Armani Prive. Loved the top part of the gown, a beautiful, futuristic bust. However I would have prefered a more colorful makeup and her hair up. This hair style didn't suit the "Good Wife" star.
Funny Actress Julie Bowen from "Modern Family" also wore a sparkly, mosaic-like gown featuring pewter, silver, gold and sparkly blues and blacks. I loved this Oscar De La Renta and it was very proper for an Emmy Winner like Julie. I especially loved her very simple hairdo: a low ponytail.
Uber-Famous Movie Actress Kate Winslet recently on "Mildred Pierce", wore another red stunner by Elie Saab which beautifully enveloped her famous curves. Her wavy updo, dangly earrings and gorgeous sparkly bracelet finished off the wonderful look.
TV Actress Mika Kelly wore famous French Designer Christian Dior. Lace is a big must-have this fall and navy has made a comeback this year too, so she had both of these trends together in one beautiful, classy gown.
Film Actress Julia Stiles who played a scorned woman on the last season of "Dexter" made a beautiful comeback in this darling lilac silver, princess-y gown which I fell in love with. This Georges Hobeika featured beautiful lace and a sheer train. Her hair and jewels were quite pretty too, though I would have prefered a little dainty necklace.
"Glee" Actress Lea Michele has turned heads in every red carpet for the last couple of years and this time was no exception. She wore the color of the night RED, pouring herself in this gown by Marchesa which featured a beautiful shoulder design. I loved the little sleeves and that sexy open back. Also her straight long hair with bangs looked sexy and luscious.
Lena Headey from "Game of Thrones" wore the most unique gown of the night in my opinion. Her black gown by Wilfredo Dawson, featured a full skirt and full-length sleeves. I loved the little bejeweled belt that matched her silver clutch and stunning leaf-shaped earrings. Her hair and makeup was simple but stunning. She is a beautiful lady after all.
These are 15 of my Most Favorite Looks at this year's Primetime Emmys held on Septemer 18th 2011, in LA. There are other gowns that I liked and loved but I narrowed it down to these 15. =)
For me Mika and Lena looked like queens !
