My Fashion Resume 2010: Part Two - Every Day Life, January thru March.
So how was your vacation time, Christmas and New Year's, Beautiful & Stylish Friends? What did you do, where did you celebrate, what did you give and receive and most importantly WHAT DID YOU WEAR? I am dying to see everyone's New Year's Eve outfits -- most of my friends on facebook have already posted their photos and as usually I am months behind with pictures. My Christmas outfit and most importantly my New Year's Eve 2011 outfit will be posted soon here on my blog, as I think it is MY BEST NEW YEAR'S EVE OUTFIT, YET!!
This is the second part of My Fashion Resume for 2010. But first of all I want to wish you all Bloggers and Fashion Addicts on this blogging site: A Very Happy, Healthy, Fun, Stylish, Fashionable, Over-all AWESOME Happy New Year 2011!! May it be a beautiful demonstration of memories, beautiful pictures, pretty outfits, happy shopping, great friends and fun going outs!!
Here are some of the outfits I wore in the year we left behind, 2010. Of course you haven't seen any of them since I didn't start blogging till August and even then, I don't blog nearly half as often as I'd like. But anyway, drumroll please... (I am only joking.)

This was on January 1st 2010, the first day of the New Year, at an Albanian Concert Party Celebrating the New Year. An Albanian singer who had flown all the way from London - also a family friend of my parents and uncle - had come to sing for a few nights, including the previous night on New Year's Eve, in celebration of the Holidays, so of course we had to go at her concert. I decided not to wear a' typical' dress I normally do for events like this, instead I wore a fun & sassy outfit in Gold & Red, I perfectly match this grand tree at the Banquet Hall where the concert was, don't I?! LOL
Stiletto, Black Leather Boots w/ Fun Buckles Off the Side : Worthington (JC Penney's).
Dark Red, Skinny Jeans: Martin & Osa.
Empire-Waist, Low-Cut, V-Neck, Gold, Silk Blouse: Bebe.
Circle Beaded Gold Earrings and Gold Bracelets: Bebe.
This was on January 2nd 2010, at my Parent's House by their Gorgeous Fireplace. This was during a dinner with my parents, my husband, and my parents' friends (the singer from London with her husband). I remember New Year last year came brisk cold so I wore something comfortable and warm to face the cold air as well as the ice, (so no heels for me).
Comfy, Flat, Brown Boots: Diba (DSW).
Medium-Wash, Bootcut, Blue Jeans: Charlotte Russe.
Black Leather Belt with Circle Buckle: Old Navy.
Black & White, Artsy Floral Cardigan: Express.
This is at Detroit's Anual International Auto Show that is held down-town at the Cobo Center Early thru Mid January. Again it was freezing cold outside, we had to walk a bit from the parking lot, too, and I chose Comfort over Fashion as you can see. This was one of my favorite cars I saw, out of hundreds. I Love TOYOTA's.
Blue, Wide-Legged Comfortable Pants with Drawstrings: Express.
Mellow Yellow, Sweetheart Neckline Tee: TJ Maxx. (I have had it for a loooong time).
Long, Kelly Green Cardigan w/ Navy Blue Piping: Macy's.
Large Leather Cognac Handbag: DSW.
Skinny-Bow, Gold, Leather Headband: J. Crew.
This was at a local Italian Cafe/Pizzeria/Bar Restaurant my husband and I really like. This was post Valentine's Day last year and it really started to snow that day and it was freezing cold. Sharing a warm pizza made in an open-fire oven, gnocchi in a creamy sauce and red wine were perfect to enjoy during this cold February day.
Pinkish-Red, Bootcut, Corduroy Pants: Express.
Animal-Print, Black & Gray, Mock Turtleneck Sweater: Express.
Black Leather Loafers: Dr. Scholls.
This was during another Super-Cold February day and as you see I am outside Panera Cafe where I had lunch and caught up with one of my oldest friends (who at the time lived in Chicago), Laura.
Skinny, Distressed, Blue Jeans: Charlotte Russe.
Red & Black Tweed, Double-Breasted Coat: Macy's.
Large Leather Cognac Handbag: DSW.
Brown Boots w/ Wedges & Faux Fur Inside: Aldo's.
OK, this is a horrible photo, however it's a moment from my life in 2010. This was a pretty warm day for March and it was an important day for my career as after 6 interviews, several overviews and exams, I finally got good news that I had gotten the job I applied for in the Finance and Marketing field. I decided to wear this sweater dress I had had for a while but never worn up until this point.
Gray & Ivory Stripped Cowl-Neck Sweater Dress w/ Matching Gray Skinny Belt: Express.
Thick Gray Tights: Express.
Stiletto, Black Leather Boots w/ Fun Buckles Off the Side : Worthington (JC Penney's).
This was for St. Patrick's Day we spent (among other things) at a Cafe we frequent a lot (with my husband Piro and my Little Sister Gloria). We went there to sip something warm, talk and celebrate St. Patty's. I was wearing my new, fun & fabulous Studded Tennis Shoes, and surprisingly No Green.
Gray & Colorful-Print, Graffiti, Studded Gym Shoes: Skechers.
Skinny, Distressed, Blue Jeans: Charlotte Russe.
Long, Plaid Lavender/Maroon Shirt: Charlotte Ronson (JC Penney's).

Thank you girls so much. Unfortunately I don't come here often enough. But today is a snow day and I am spending all day in, though I have a gazillion things to do, taking down my Christmas Tree and organizing up my dressers a bit - among them.

I love your double-breasted coat (not quite a peacoat, is it?) and gingham tunic.
ReplyDeleteJMay I love the pic of me @ Panera as well, quite a Winter Wonderland I agree.
ReplyDeleteStephanie and Rebecca Thanks A Lot. I'd like to think that I have a pretty good style.
Hope, thanks a lot. Yes, I will definitely start to blogging more often I agree. I added 2 new blogs since April so check them out.
Suns to Moons, I do really like that gingham tunic and the fun reddish-black tweed peacoat. I wore it a few times last winter and unfortunately I tore it in the back by the seam, so I gave it away to Goodwill.
