Pixelated Pinks and Light Blue Chambray.
I cannot believe it's almost Monday again, the start of a new week and the last one of June. Where did half of the year go? Before we know it, the Holiday season will ghost by and after that, my baby girl will turn 2!
Anyhow, Today's Dress was given to me to style a couple of different ways. So, exactly a month ago I styled this Hi-Lo, Pink/Green/Black/Blue/White Watercolor Dress for a day at the Races. Using my Gorgeous Teal, Bow Floppy Hat and Multi-Colored Wedges, adding some Colorful Jewelry to the mix, I created a Girly Outfit full of Color and Brightness. This time, I went a Casual Daytime route. I added my Light-Colored Chambray Shirt knotted over the Dress, instead of a Denim Jacket. I find Chambray Shirts perfect to wear as a topper for the hotter months. I'd wear this Casual Outfit early in the morning or later in the evening doing stuff with Vivian or running errands. It is Casual yet a little Girly and because of such a Colorful Dress, it definitely leaves an impression, I think. The Green+Black Bow Flats bring out the Green+Black of the Dress while the Light Blue Chambray picks up the Blues of the Dress. I added a pair of Multi-Colored, Flower Drop Earrings and I was done. What do you think? How would you style this Dress. I seriously want to know. Thanks. =)
Speaking of Dresses, I am linking up one last time with Andi and Heidi for their Dress week which ends today - you still have time to link up your dresses. And speaking of Dresses, I decided to do my own Dress Week next week. I have added some new Dresses to my ever-growing Dress Collection this year and it's time I wear them. So next Week I will be showing you ALL of these New Dresses. I am so excited to wear them and excited for you to see them. =)

ReplyDeleteYep, time flies so fast right? This is such a fresh look, Ada! Love the tied chambray over printed dress and by the way, I think we have similar two-tone flats, it´s just that mine´s in beige and black and an old pair. I need to wear them soon so that you can see. ;)

Love the green bow flats - what a fun shoe!
ReplyDeleteI really do adore the print of this dress. And the chambray is a nice option when the warmer months rule out a jacket.
ReplyDeleteI love the colors here! And the chambray looks great over top of the dress. I really need to try that out because my denim jacket is getting to warm now!
ReplyDeleteI love wearing a chambray shirt as a outer layer/light jacket- it totally works!
