Dressing Up a New Graphic Tee and My First Ever Link Up.
Hello All and Welcome to my first ever Link-up. Today, I am co-hosting with Agnes from Vodka Infused Lemonade, linking up with her Fun & Fashionable Thursday Link-Up "Tres Chic Fashion Thursday". In honor of my first ever linky, as well as to celebrate my Baby Girl's Birthday - she turns 8 months old today on September 19th - I dressed up a Beautiful Red Pencil Skirt yesterday.
The Pencil Skirt is fitted and falls right on the knee. It is beautiful & it features tiny White Polka Dots & Bold White Buttons on the back. It definitely is for the Woman who isn't afraid to try Bold Styles & be Noticed. It has a Retro feel to it so I wore some Retro-inspired Mary Jane Shoes with it. On Tuesday I went shopping at Old Navy for the Baby & myself. I had been eyeing many Sweatshirts, Tees & Sweaters as mentioned in this post. While I didn't get everything obviously, I ended up getting several Sweaters, Sweatshirts & a couple of these Graphic Tees. This particular one I styled today with the Pencil Skirt was actually purchased for me from a friend of mine who works at Old Navy. The message on the Tee says "Making People Smile". She said the Tee was meant for me because I am a positive, good & sweet person who loves to genuinely help and care for people and make them smile. She couldn't have given me a better compliment. Plus, I happen to love the Tee. These Tees are currently selling for ten bucks at Old Navy. =) What do you think of this Outfit?

Charcoal Gray, 3/4-Sleeve, Crew-neck, Graphic Tee: Old Navy (New).
Red, Cotton-Stretchy Pencil Skirt w/ tiny White Polka Dots: Bebe.
Real Silver, Oval Hoops: Meijer's.
Burgundy, Red & Silver, Sparkly, Beaded, Stretchy Bracelets' Set: White House Black Market.
Black Quilted, Shiny Purse w/ Silver Chain Strap: White House Black Market.
Black, Leather, Square-Toe Mary Jane Pumps: JC Penney's.
With this Outfit I killed several birds with one stone. I have been seeing more and more Outfits on Pinterest and on different Blogs of Ladies styling their T-Shirts and Graphic Tees with Pencil Skirts. Though I didn't have a particular Pinterest Look in mind, I definitely thought of this trend when wearing this Outfit (yesterday, in real life), therefore I am linking up with Heather of "H & K Style Journey" for her "Pinned It & Did It Feature" because though this Outfit is 100% me, I definitely got inspired from Pinterest, too. This Outfit also features a Pencil Skirt, which is this week's item over at "Spotlight Weekly Link Up". Jacqueline and Elle challenged their readers to style Pencil Skirts this week. Last but not least another Fun Blonde, Bri from "Work Clothes I Suppose" challenged her readers to Dress Up Tees for her "Third Thursday Threads Link Up". So yeah, I am linking up with all the Fashionistas I mentioned above, as well as Tara (with Sharon), Sherry, Lauren, Meghan (with Bethany) and Bre.
Below is the Link Up. I am dying to see what everyone is wearing. Please follow my Blog via Bloglovin & Google Friend Connect and let's all support each-other. Thank you so much.
