Colors, Layers and Keeping Warm.

I swear I have less time for the blog and things in general on weekends than I do on weekdays, despite my husband being home. That also justifies my absence in here the last couple of days. I am finally back this Sunday. One of the many reasons I was busy, was attending to Vivian. She has been really fussy due to teething. And poor me, instead of waking up 3-4 times a night as I usually do (due to Vivian), I have now woken up every hour if not sooner. Not being able to post every day puts me behind with Outfits too. Speaking of Outfits, yesterday we went to 2 Kids' Birthday Parties, a girl's 2 year party during the day and a boy's 1-year party in the evening. I wore not one but 2 Cute Outfits to both but I didn't take any photos. I was just exhausted and these parties made both Vivian and I more tired and totally ruined her nap time too (poor baby). So I wasn't feeling like smiling fake and taking Outfit Pics when we got home.

Today's Outfit has lots of Colors and Layers. You see Mustard, Burgundy, Blue, Chambray, Gold, Olive, Cognac and even Polka Dots. Now that I mentioned all of it, it sounds like too much. But seeing it altogether it actually looked nice. It was worn on an otherwise cold day this January. I always like layers a lot, but in Winter time even more so. In Winter, layers become almost a must, usually. What do you think? Do you like to layer in general or do layers become too bulky for you? And what do you think of this Palette of Colors, for the Outfit?

  6. The teething phase is so crazy! I feel for both you and your lack of sleep. I really love this color combo and I am all about layers when it's cold. My only suggestion with this look would have been to unbutton your cardigan to let that adorable polka dot top show. The leather jacket is gorgeous!
