Thursday Moda #89: Geo-Print, Rainbow Mommy+Mini Matching Leggings.
Vivian is back, she is back and this mommy is happy and proud to have her little mini join my blog post, today. And we styled identical, (matching) Geometric-Print Rainbow Leggings by LuLa Roe. We love these leggings and I must say pairing leggings, skinny pants or skinny jeans with a cozy long cardigan and a tee underneath is a Fall uniform for me. =)
THE GEOMETRIC-PRINT LULAROE LEGGINGS.
These are some of Vivian's favorite leggings. When we first purchased them in the Spring, she started calling them her "rainbow pants". These are the only LuLa Roe Leggings we own and they are super soft and super comfortable, I am pretty sure they won't be our last. Vivian and I have styled them once more in the Spring, around Saint Patrick's Day. =) But I have to apologize for today's photos, they are horrible and my phone would have probably taken better ones. But it was sprinkling on and off all day that day and it was very foggy as you may see. At least is was warm-ish. I wish you could better see these fun leggings.
THE OVERSIZED CARDIGAN.
You first saw this Oversized Dark Green, Speckled Chenille Cardigan on my Thanksgiving Outfit Post where I dressed it up a little with my Berry Mini Skirt and my Metallic Booties. Today I dressed down this cardi (currently on sale for 20% OFF and it makes it an awesome $25) and wanted to give you another option for Thanksgiving Dinner. I wanted to play off the different greens in this outfit so between the dark hunter green of the cardigan, the lime green + kelly green on the leggings and the olive green laceup sandals, I think it worked out and looked cute. Speaking of the sandals, they dressed up the look a little bit especially since I have a plain old white tee underneath (not old by any means, but you get the gist). This amazing cardigan has nice pockets, too.
Identical, Marled Chenille Oversized Coatigan // Identical V-Neck Pocket White T-Shirt // Similar Colorful Geo-Print Leggings // Similar Gold-Tone Tassel Necklace // Similar Circle, Gold-Tone, Ivory Mini Studs // Very Similar Pink Mirror Sunglasses (for a Steal!) // Similar Silver Spiky Bracelet // Very Similar Olive Green Suede Ghilly Sandals
Throw a Pink Graphic Tee on top of some Fun-Patterned Leggings on a little girl and add the Most Fabulous Silver Ballet Flats and you got yourselves an adorable-looking kid. And that Light Pink Stone Pendant Necklace, Vivian has been wearing non-stop lately, she loves it!

THE WHITE V-TEE.
This outfit is from the last week of October as I was still doing the Common Threads Challenge and the White V-Tee I included was one of the 5 pieces I chose. You last saw this tee on the blog also paired with a long, oversized chenille cardigan (my ochre/dark mustard one by Loft) and some jeans. I told you these types of outfits are Fall uniforms for me. Anyhow, I am very happy I Included a plain white tee during this challenge and for this particular outfit it was perfect because I did neutrals on top and went full on blowout color on the bottom. I definitely recommend this White T-Shirt by Lush from Nordstrom because it is real nice.
I mentioned today that this type of outfit would be perfect for Thanksgiving and if you want to go for comfort add some Adidas, Keds or a pair of Converse sneakers instead. Well, several of the bloggers who linked up with me last week, wore outfits that I think would be perfect for Thanksgiving dinner. Today my favorites all feature (in my opinion) great Thanksgiving looks - all different yet equally nice and put-together.
This week's Featured Blogger is BROOKE from Pumps and Pushups who has been featured here previously. She linked the most put-together, best denim-on-denim outfit I have ever seen. Skinny Blue Jeans with a Chambray Shirt on top is a combo we have seen often and again but add a long, oversized grey cardigan on top and the best almond-toe nude ballet flats and you got an outfit that is casual and super comfortable (perfect for you to eat and lounge in at Thanksgiving), but at the same time so chic, elegant and nice. When I saw this on Brooke last week I had to comment right away, I loved it. This works because the shades of denim are different and I think the shirt tucked in makes it classy and sophisticated. Plus, of course I'd love this outfit since it is my Fall uniform too. If you work in a casual office where you can wear jeans, this outfit would be perfect. Brooke's blog in general has everything not just her cute and very attainable style. Toddler tips, home decor (I love Brooke's home), product reviews plus some awesome fitness tips and workout routines - check it out and also link up with her every Wednesday.
Katrina Gwen is new to my linkup but she linked the coziest outfit with her 'Must Have Fall Accessory'. The colors of her plaid scarf are pretty and serene.
Carrie has on 'That Perfect LBD' that is classy, sophisticated, classic and seasonless. She wore it last year for the Holiday season and if your Thanksgiving event is on the dressy side, dress up like Carrie.
Amy is 'Styling a Choker Top' with simple but classic black pants and a pop of Autumn with her Malbec bag. This outfit is perfect for Thanksgiving, between casual and dressy.
Mariah is blooming among 'Autumn Layers'. No wonder I love this outfit since I love belting a blanket scarf over a casual dress.
'Textures and Tones' are important elements to a Fall look and Kileen knows it. I recently purchased this gorgeous mustard skirt and Kileen inspired me to style it with burgundy and leopard.
Now join the linkup and make some new friends!
