Thursday Moda #59: Peplum Floral and Polka Dots Fancy for Easter.
Welcome to Thursday Moda and thank you for adding your link/s at the end of this post. Also, Happy Easter weekend ahead! Today, I am back with Vivian, just like yesterday with other Easter looks. We actually wore these outfits last Sunday, where my sweet girl saw and took photos with the Easter bunny at our local mall. Which explains why she is more dressed up than mamma. I love Vivian's New Gorgeous Polka Dot Dress with touches of Fuchsia (comes with the little bolero). Those hot pink and yellow silk embroidered butterflies look so pretty against the black and white dots. My outfit is a little more casual today than yesterday, but I still think this would be a great option for Easter and not a typical dress, maxi, skirt+blouse or lately jumpsuits, like we are used to see.
I shopped my closet for these pieces. This popular among bloggers teal floral+paisley blouse from Loft's last Holiday collection I have worn before but never made it to the blog. Though I shopped my closet for putting this together, the outfit touches on many current Spring trends such as Blush Pink, Florals and Peplum Tops and of course Leopard is a neutral as far as I am concerned and these Tassel Loafers are the cutest. What makes this nice for Easter morning at church for example, is that pastels and florals symbolize Easter wear. I do apologize for these photos though. It was warm yeah but it got overcast and on+off rainy. Also my pants wrinkled after a long day we spent at the mall, all the sitting, the driving and the rain - sorry.

Last week - where I also styled Blush Pink and Floral - there were around 90 outfits that were linked up. But also on Friday last week I co-hosted the Fabulous Friday linkup where over 90 looks were linked, too. So many outfits were Spring forward stylish looks and several of them hinted at Easter. Between both linkups, I narrowed it down to 10 favorite looks, Since it is Easter and I am in the holiday spirit I decided to feature all of my top 10 Favorite Easter-inspired looks. We will start with the first collage of 5 (below) and you will see the other 5 - tomorrow. You will notice lots of jewel blue and blush pink in today's favorites - just like my own outfit from this post. All of these ladies know the importance of a good nude sandal as they all chose a pair of nude/beige/camel sandals to wear.
Chioma showcased a 'Floral Dress with Old Navy' which is currently one of my most favorite dresses from this trendy and affordable brand. Love her clutch and sandals with it.
Lizzie is always wearing a pretty floral dress. This time she has a 'Spring Fling' with an embroidered pastel Bohemian piece and that blush tote - stunning!
Nora designed her own outfit for Easter. She is 'Going Blush' with the prettiest light kimono jacket all made of intricate lace.
Shelly also shared some of her 'Spring Favorites at Old Navy' with this slit-sleeve trapeze dress in the most colorful floral print. So cute!
'The Bigger the Bell', the more Kileen loves her blouse. Blush and navy look so gorgeous and feminine here and those earrings are the most perfect match.
Last but not least, I wanted to let you know that I am looking for co-hosts for Thursday Moda. That floral bomber is so cute!! And your daughters dress is perfect!! I know mine would love it.
ReplyDeleteI love the top...a good peplum gets me every time! No need to apologize for the wrinkles, I honestly didn't even notice. My outfits are often looking "lived in" by the time I take photos because I always take them after work. I think the wrinkles make it more real life...lol! :)
