Thursday Moda #52: One Year Celebration continues with a Collaboration.

Welcome to the 52nd Thursday Moda linkup, yes it has been a year! Hooray! Thank you all for making this linkup super fun and bringing your awesome sense of style each week (while inspiring me along the way), by linking up. If you stopped by yesterday, you know that I started the celebration early. My mini me and I coordinated our outfits complete with Fresh Flowers and all. Vivi stole the blog, as always. Today, I am continuing the celebration but I am totally getting all fancy on you. I am sharing a Stunning Red Gown I recently received via "Places to Go" - a local boutique here in Michigan. It came at the perfect time because it was 'the dress' to style for my one year anniversary of Thursday Moda.

To help me celebrate today I got together 9 beautiful ladies who have their own style blogs. They also got dressed up and in spirit are celebrating with me today - I cannot thank them enough. Each outfit is so different from the next - they all have very different styles - but they look equally amazing. So I mentioned this Beautiful Red Gown (my favorite color and it is just right to wear it today in celebration of one year of Thursday Moda) was gifted to me c/o "Places to Go". They also included these Gorgeous Block Heel Sandals on the package and let me tell you they made the perfect fancy duo combined with the fancy red dress. This lovely boutique sent me a few other things and you will get to see those on the blog in the upcoming weeks. I had received this package close to Christmas but I 'saved' it to style these pieces for today. I amped up the volume with an arm party, a few semi-dainty rings, some fabulous statement earrings which have stones in burgundy, gray and olive green and my most favorite red lipstick (this one). I am carrying a little fan-shaped maroon clutch that I have had in my closet forever. It is from Old Navy just like yesterday's Fabulous Red Fur Bag. And yes I put my hair up (though it was difficult because it is still a pretty short bob) but a few bobby pins helped for a tiny bun, which I accessorized with a red polka dot bow barrette. Oh and my new marble sunglasses match the marble face of my watch. I got them both very recently for a steal at Wet Seal (they are closing their stores) so they had some fantastic sales.
