Flashback Friday: Little White Dresses from last year.
July has been a lazy month for me and I mean that in a good way. I have focused on everything else with the blog towards the end of my list of what to do/spend time at etc. I have been back from vacation for 6 days now and only taken two OOTD photos though I do get dressed every day, I promise. I still have one last LWD Dress to post from my last week of Dresses in June and I will do that on Sunday. Today, I figured since white especially Little White Dresses or Little White Rompers are THE THING to wear this Summer and since I haven't done a Flashback Friday post in a while, I would look back at a few Little White Dresses I wore last Spring/Summer (2016). Tell me which are your favorite 2-3 looks from below?
Fit+Flare Dress with Embroidered Turquoise+Gold Flowers.
I wore this dress for a pre-birthday celebration last year for my big 35 and also it was one of the two dresses I wore to the Blog Birthday Party I hosted on the blog. While this dress would look great paired with Gold, I decided to pair it with Bright and Summery Coral Accessories (Patent Leather Clutch and Statement Earrings) but also a bit of floral to bring out the floral embroidery it has, so I chose some Bright Teal/Purple/Orange/Red Rose Satin Pumps.
Little White+Black Striped Trapeze Dress.
Everyone needs a White with Black (or Navy) Stripes Little Dress in their closets and I own a couple. Above I styled mine last year with a Blue Denim Jacket, Bright Tassel Loafers and a Bright Floral Chiffon Scarf that matches the Loafers since it has some Turquoise, too.
A Little White Sheath (or not).
In here I faked a White Sheath by wearing a White Poplin Sateen Pencil Skirt with a tucked-in 3/4 Sleeve Off-White Tee. You cannot see the tee tucked in because of the wide Obi Belt I used. The Gold Belt mixed well with the Nude and Cognac Pave Bow Sandals.
White Wool Sheath with 3D Chiffon Flowers.
Love, Love this dress - it is so unique and can be worn to many occasions but since it is wool, I would leave it to days where temperatures are 75 degrees or less. In April last year I paired it with Chic Turquoise Tassel Loafers and a Fun See-Through Lucite+Lavender Shoulder Bag.
A White+Black Classic Sheath.
This is a 3/4 Sleeve Sheath with little flecks of Black by the shoulders so pairing it with Kitten Heel Bow Lace Peep-Toes was a great idea for work. I added a Baubble Statement Necklace with pearls and a couple of Beaded and Pearl Bracelets.
White Maxi Dress with Red Flowers.
This Flowy Chiffon Maxi Dress is so pretty and can be dressed down (like I did here with Green Sandals and a Navy Floppy Hat) or can be dressed up. Since it is not 100% white I even think you can wear it with Heeled Nude sandals or some Colorful Heeled Sandals to an Outdoor Summer Wedding.
Faking a Little White Dress.
Once again I faked a Little White Dress with my Lace White Skirt and a Tucked-in Cotton Scoop-Neck Tee. Once again I chose Gold Sandals because I think Gold pairs so well with White and the combo is perfect for Summer.
White+Black Windowpane Shift with Short Sleeves.
Here is a casual yet modern approach on this modern Dress featuring the popular Windowpane/Grid Print. I decided to go Graphic with Black+White Chanel-Inspired Slip-On Flats and added a Summery Flower Scarf to my Green Bag.
White+Black Windowpane Shift again.
This time around this dress got spiced up with speckles of Bright Coral and Mustard. The Flower-Patterned Tassel Scarf tied into a triangle on the front, looked great over it.
